Cruz was the leading runner, and he's slow, so it made sense to pinch run the tying run. It was unfortunate that Cron got him out at second, but there's not much you can do about that.

If you do that, you have to be prepared to put Cruz in the field somewhere.

At least gameday seems to have listened to m complaint about "no out" when it is a hit resulting in a baserunning out. I guess that is a lining of silv... cop... brass.

Of course hindsight is 20-20, I actually didn't mind them sending Cron there. Forced the Jays to make the play. More disappointed in the Garver at-bat that preceded the Buxton AB. 

 

Two losses against what looks to be a 95-loss Toronto team...seems like it's always a struggle when the Twins play the Jays.
