ahart10 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Aaron? He's busy taking care of Danica.I was hoping they’d give the bullpen help but didn’t think we’d make that big of splash hahhaa
SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I get taking him out as it's the first start of the season and he wouldn't have gone back out for the 9th but I'd love to see him get the chance to finish off the 8th.
SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 So who gets the first save chance of the season? May?
twins_89 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 How great would it be to have Kimbrel waiting out in the bullpen.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Oh I love it when my favorite team plays like this!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Sound is off here. What was the challenge all about?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I really wouldn't have minded seeing Astudillo come in to bat for Castro there...It would be pretty unusual to take out your catcher while your pitcher is throwing a shutout. Especially with a lead.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Tito sabotaging his team with his dumbass managing.
kydoty Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I just want to say that the drunk guy in section 120 could tell what Pérez was throwing based on the speed of his windup. What prize do I get?

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 So who gets the first save chance of the season? May?No way! It will be today March 28 baby!!
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Well, we won’t see this next year...
twinssporto Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Sound is off here. What was the challenge all about?Whether Polanco got hit in the foot or didn't. He did.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 No way! It will be today March 28 baby!! well played!
SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I thought pitchers had to face three batters or does that start next season?
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Well, we won’t see this next year... I hope his entire bullpen has their arms fall off.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Doesn't make it right.....Doesn’t seem like something a guy would want to make as his first substantial decision as a manager.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Doesn’t seem like something a guy would want to make as his first substantial decision as a manager. too bad. I was hoping tradition and myth were dead to this team now, and analytics were more important. Though maybe they REALLY believe Castro>>>>>>>>>any other option on defense.....
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 In other baseball news, the Astros look really good.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 sweet... up 2-0 in the 8th!!!!!
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Yeah, three pitching changes and a nobody sidearmer stepping off the rubber multiple times between pitches after the starters cruised through he game. I better not ever hear Francona complain about pitch clocks and three batter minimums; he’s part of the problem that needs fixing.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Eddie didn't have a very pretty at bat there. Looked like he was pitching a 9 iron in the back yard.

Not sure what the problem here is, he used his players and they came thru. Outside the pitch clock, of course, that's different than strategy.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Whether Polanco got hit in the foot or didn't. He did. Thanks, by the way.
