Well ****. Gotta give props for a perfect throw, though. Anything else and Dozier scores.

Kind of interesting that Glynn held Adrianza on the prior hit but sent Dozier there. Practically identical scenarios.

So you hold Adrianza so as to not test Gordon's arm, but then you send Dozier and test Gordon's arm... not sure I follow...

Side Note: Are we sure that isn't Travis Fimmel wearing Alex Gordon's jersey out there?

What was the deal with Duffy giving Rosario the evil eye at the end of the inning?

Agree.

If you’re not going to hold him on, why should he stay close to the base? To be polite?

I think Rosario's hit got to LF quicker than Sano's. Plus Escobar is pretty cold lately. 2 for his last 27.

He already met his stop sign quota for the inning.  :)

I love Esco. He's one of my favorite Twins, for a long time now.

But, come on. He's fallen off a cliff the last 2 weeks or more, yet someone keeps sticking him right there in the 4 spot, stubbornly refusing to note that he's in a funk, and that's killing us with runners on base. Kind of like sticking with Dozey at #1 when he's in one of his usual blue months.

Yes, it's a long haul, and these guys will bear out over the course of the season, but there's a 7-8 hole in the lineup for a reason. Let a guy ride that place while he's funking, and let him work it out with maybe a litte less leverage in his ABs.

I know, I know. Our lineup is stacked with 7-8-9 hitters these days. But not everybody is in a funk at the same time. Juggle once in a while, and get a hotter guy higher in the lineup, for heaven's sake.

I'm all for a good shuffle when it's required.

I think it's required at this point ... but ... it is what it is, I guess, since I'm not the one making out the lineup cards.

I must have a thousand emails that haven't been returned yet.

It's like Molitor thinks it's his responsibility or something.

You too?! He's hogging all of the fun and I'm getting tired of it!

Heh....

Too bad about that! I'll bet your lineup would be a bit more dangerous than the ones we trot out there regularly.

The lineup's would be good and she'll bring cookies.

Cookies would fit in nicely with all of the high carb diets being discussed tonight, right?
