As you all know... If you keep having conversations with the same people... eventually you end up hearing the same conversations, opinions and stories.  :)

So I thought I would dip my toe back into baseball by watching some MLB network.  High Heat was on.  I have to ask the question why Chris Russo isn't on the YES network?  Kind of obvious that he really only wants to talk about the Yankees.  I just found him annoying.  I can't be the only one.

 

I've heard that he is a Giants Fan first and foremost.

 

Yankees ends up being daily content because they have a larger and more active audience base than everybody else. Just playing the percentages for ratings and revenue.

Impressive how many other languages have an equivalent character.

Yes to his being a Giants fan first. 

 

But YES to his being annoying, and NO to your being the only one who finds him that way. I'm not a huge fan of "Intentional Talk," but it doesn't get the automatic <click> on the remote that "High Heat" does.

the yankees winning 15 of 16 might also have a little to do with it ...

Even if I were a Yankees fan, I'm not sure I could stomach hearing that voice every day.

It's still there somewhere, just not pinned to the top of the forum ... maybe it's time to resurrect it. When we get more and more things pinned to the top of the forums we have to decide which stay and which go. And that one had likely not seen a post in a while so the decision was made to unpin it.

We'll be playing without the DH today, right? I hope Gant reaches base, just once, so that HrbieMauer can power-lift him for an easy out.

I've always been disappointed Gant didn't get ejected for kneeing poor Hrbek in the midsection with such violence and bad intent.

Two Big Macs a day is an expensive habit these days, those things run $5 a pop without fries and a drink (before tax as well), he is spending $3,650 a year on big Macs....

At this point, I'd wager he's getting them free. For the publicity if nothing else. And if he's not he needs a new agent

I wouldn't say it's a bad show, but it is my least favorite show on the network. They can do a lot better.

Back in the day I used to order a double cheeseburger and ask for the big mac sauce (this was when they were a buck). This is the way to go, but not sure if they will still do it. This has been your fast-food loophole-tip-of-the-day.

Am I missing something here? It's just empty for me.

I spotted it.

 

Probables have Lewis pitching for Jackson and Thorpe for Chattanooga.

 

But how could they have different records and eras?
