ashbury Verified Member Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Brian, I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the pitcher we are facing, and the way he pitches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X97DeYup70sWe'll be playing without the DH today, right? I hope Gant reaches base, just once, so that HrbieMauer can power-lift him for an easy out.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2018 Author Posted May 7, 2018 So... to the real question, how many times does RB reuse his Joe M conversation? As you all know... If you keep having conversations with the same people... eventually you end up hearing the same conversations, opinions and stories. Blake and Nine of twelve 2

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2018 Author Posted May 7, 2018 So I thought I would dip my toe back into baseball by watching some MLB network. High Heat was on. I have to ask the question why Chris Russo isn't on the YES network? Kind of obvious that he really only wants to talk about the Yankees. I just found him annoying. I can't be the only one. I've heard that he is a Giants Fan first and foremost. Yankees ends up being daily content because they have a larger and more active audience base than everybody else. Just playing the percentages for ratings and revenue.
twinsfanstreif Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Two Big Macs a day is an expensive habit these days, those things run $5 a pop without fries and a drink (before tax as well), he is spending $3,650 a year on big Macs.... Riverbrian 1

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Do some research on Little Johnny, and then get back to us. From Wikipedia i see he is a character getting humor from innocent questions about adult themes. Impressive how many other languages have an equivalent character. So this was a little Joe ('nny) M. dialogue? Mr. Riverbrian is quite the literary guru. Riverbrian, ashbury and Blake 3

Yes to his being a Giants fan first. But YES to his being annoying, and NO to your being the only one who finds him that way. I'm not a huge fan of "Intentional Talk," but it doesn't get the automatic <click> on the remote that "High Heat" does. Riverbrian 1

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Whatever became of the new user welcome thread? It's still there somewhere, just not pinned to the top of the forum ... maybe it's time to resurrect it. When we get more and more things pinned to the top of the forums we have to decide which stay and which go. And that one had likely not seen a post in a while so the decision was made to unpin it.
