I'm not sure he should have ... but with all the picks he made last year ... yeah, surprising he missed this one. Still, that one is on Dozier, imo.

He has to return to Rochester after this series as he has not been down there the required 10 days. Unless he is Buxton's DL replacement of course, which he probably will be...

Correct, but incorrect.

 

LaMarre took Buxton's place on the 25 man after he was DL'd today

It's already been confirmed that LaMarre was called back up.

Yeah, I was thinking Lamarre was done after this series because of the 10 day rule. I thought the rule was hard and fast and it didn't make a difference if a player went on the DL.

Replay showed that the second bounce of Dozier's throw hit the edge of the sliding pit and skidded. That's an example of why it's better not to purposely bounce throws.
