gocgo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Off topic....anyone in MN know of any IT openings? For some reason, one of my sons wants to live in MN still.....No, but my son is heading of to do a summer internship with the NSA...I'm a little concerned about what he might find out about me.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 This kid Reed is going to make me forget about Phil Dumatrait.I'll see your Phil Dumatrait and raise you a Brian Bass.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Say what you want about Rodney, he definitely isn't afraid to throw strikes
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 See you're not a card carrying member of the Fernando Rodney Experience Eh. I think he is a fine option as closer. I like the role they have Reed in right now over strictly using him as a corner. I think Rodney can be effective give a clean inning, and that he typically keeps the ball in the park.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 You don't need anyone to make you forget Phil Dumatrait. Nobody remembers who he is. Phil Dumatrait did not like this
ewen21 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I'll see your Phil Dumatrait and raise you a Brian Bass.Neither add up to one Bobby Korecky!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 FFS with this team why is it never easy
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Go ahead run at the plate. yeesh.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Say what you want about Rodney, he definitely isn't afraid to throw strikesI will not question Rodney's courage after throwing some cheese on an 0-2 count for a called strike. (Chief might question his wisdom.)
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 If we lose it will be exactly what we deserve.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Oh you have got to be ****ting me... Why throw that?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 That's........pretty much how I saw that going
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 There was no reason to throw that, Dozier.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I think this is the experience that they spoke of.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Eat the the throw. Eat the throw. EAT THE THROW!!!!!
bighat Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Why on earth did Dozier throw that ball?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 2 strikes...keep nibbling to a terrible batter. You get what you deserve on that one, Rodney. And if you're the relay man at 2B there, why in the world would you try to throw to Rodney covering first base and it has to be a PERFECT throw.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I think this is the experience that they spoke of.Should work out well for October if our guys poop their pants playing the big boys in April.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 You can chalk this up to Molitor refusing to use his best reliever when the situation called for it. And Mauer's lack of RBI-ness, of course. I'm only half kidding on Mauer.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Well, it wouldn't hurt if Rodney wouldn't walk guys.
