Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 26 years old and still cannot control pitches for his life..Glad Span left for him..
E. Andrew Provisional Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 He's looking really down on himself in these mound visits...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Mid to high 90s is wonderful except when you miss 3 ft away
amjgt Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Jesus... Wish some of our vets got that quick of a hook.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 2 outs! We may yet get out of this inning...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Dang, Paul M with the hook just as he's about to get out of trouble.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Molitor's managing like it's game 163? Leave him in, what's the harm?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 No favors done for Meyer this inning. Ballpark, replay, ump, plouffe.Agree, though not necessarily in that order.
tharasix Provisional Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 We're only down by 1! Leave him in! What the hell did you start him for if you're going to put in Milone this quickly?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Molitor's managing like it's game 163?Leave him in, what's the harm?Game 163? More like a spring training game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Molitor's managing like it's game 163? Leave him in, what's the harm?I would have pulled him if it got worse, but he almost dug himself out. Don't get that decision. Won't do much for his confidence.
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 You guys went from praising Meyer in the first few pages to tearing him apart... I think this is too early to pull him because he had just gotten the last two outs. Is he hurt? I think Santana will be replacing Meyer in the rotation when he's back. I heard he'll be back on Sunday.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 This would be a good spot for Jack to call out Molitor.
Primetime82 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 WOW! If that don't tell you Molitor don't like Meyer, nothing will.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 A pinch hitter? Did I fall asleep and miss an hour? Seems like it's the 7th
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Don't understand why that was a home run either. Fan whiffed on it and it hit below the line. FSN had a slomo showing it hit the fan's hand. Whether he was reaching over is impossible to tell unless you have a camera right on the wall line.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Ridiculous to pull him after 2.2 innings with 3 runs in.
amjgt Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Agree, though not necessarily in that order.Chronological
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Molitor's managing like it's game 163? Or the end of Year 3 of a 3 year contract...
Platoon Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 What the F was that about. And I don't even think Meyer was pitching well. He lets him get two outs, and brings in a lefty for a righty. He got away with it, but JHC. It takes a 16 inning game and 2 injuries to get some call ups. Let me play, we are 10 f...ing games out on May 3
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 My willingness to watch this game went down about 200% with Meyer leaving and Milone coming in.
nytwinsfan Provisional Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Why the Eff are they pulling him? What a load of $#it. If this team ever wants to be a contender it is going to be because the young guys succeed. What better time to give them a chance to work towards success than when you start the year 8-18? I'm so sick of this ****. I have ****ing had it. I'll start watching games again once they've given up on this godforsaken season and start playing the young guys. No more ****ign Tommy Milone. Jesus.
amjgt Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 When was the last time one of our players getting shifted actually TRIED a bunt? Just a bunch of pretending.
tharasix Provisional Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 My willingness to watch this game went down about 200% with Meyer leaving and Milone coming in.Yeah, I'm heading to bed when my scotch is drained.
Jham Verified Member Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I'd like to see Meyer get one more start, but can't say he earned even a move back to the pen. Too bad. We need a boost and one more talented arm out of the pen. I'm also confused. I hear he was hitting 99 in AAA. 94 is fine, but I mean, Nolasco can hit 94...

Also pretty odd in the 3rd inning
