... and Plouffe- who didn't exactly light it up in low-A rehab, is hitting behind Sano, with Park, who's been mashing lately, in the 6 hole.   OK, Molly, whatever you say.

The ESPN gamecast picture of Alex Meyer looks nothing like him. There's no way it is a picture of him

Highly appropriate that Plouffe's first AB after his DL stint results in a DP.  Some things never change.

Twins are in McHugh's head already.  Likee....

I would like to think most pitchers fear us and do not sleep well the night before they have to face us.

Alex Meyer Scouting grades: Fastball: 70 | Slider: 60 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 40 | Overall: 45.

He's supposed to have a plus slider. Where is it? I saw a "get me over" slider and a slow curve right over the heart of the plate. Where's the plus in that??

Good heat, tho...

not sure, but I think it was that breaking ball he just threw.

I don't wanna get off on a rant here, but--  I know Molly and crew have a lot more intimate knowledge of how workouts and injuries and such are going, but why, oh why, does he just persist in making the kind of lineup and game decisions that boggle the mind on an unending basis?  Just the simplest, most basic things that casual sidewalk knowledge would dictate, is thrown out the window for some kind of mystifying, Game of Thrones skulduggery...

An occasional head-scratcher can be explained away, but just since he took over, I've gone from a lush head of thick curls to looking like Dr. Evil.

There.  I'm done now.

Good going, in the 1st,  Mr. Meyer

Isn't there an unwritten rule about putting your high OBP guys at the top of the order? If somebody would just write them all down it would be a lot easier!

Stat geek!  </sarc>

On behalf of everyone who already knows they're going to be too tired to stay awake for the extra innings hex you just put on the game...
