In all due respect Aggie7. Women do post on this site and in these threads. I can be PC, but I try not to be on certain things. I think your post is sexist and disrespectful to our equal counterparts. I'm sure it was a joke, but we need to take in mind the feelings and integrity and respect of the better gender.

And also the feelings of men who are not dirty.

I'm actually wondering if it wouldn't be best to shut down the game thread tonight and try again tomorrow.

Why is Plouffe ahead of Park in the lineup? Plouffe went 1 for 8 with a couple k's in A ball and Parks been Hot? 

I was just thinking that also.

 

Wonder what Park did to get bumped down the lineup. Not to mention Plouffe is a GDP machine (see first inning)

Einstein, Newton, and Pascal are playing hide and seek. Pascal runs off and hides, but Newton takes out a piece of chalk and draws a square meter on the ground. He finishes and steps into the square just as Einstein shouts, "Ready or not, here I come!" Einstein looks up and immediately spots Newton standing right in front of him and intones, "I spy Newton!" Newton replies smugly, "No, you found one Newton per square meter. You found Pascal."

What we need is the positive people to step up. There were times during the 0-9 start where people came in and tried to keep it light.

Positive stat of the day: The Twins are 8-0 in games where they outscored their opponent.

Yeah... The Balance helps. 

 

I was at dinner with my family and it seems the other mods were elsewhere and the thread got a little taken over and then the personal attacks came out and I was a little horrified. 

 

We've tried real hard to keep the game thread different from the other threads. It's been working and now I'm wondering where it's gone wrong. 

 

I apologize in advance for the pruning that's about to take place but it has to happen.

Blame the science of on base percentage.   Plouffer gettin' on at a career .309 clip.  You don't want 8675-.309 buried at the bottom of the order.
