Game Thread: Twins v Indians, 9/23 @ 7:10pm CT‏

Rosario should have faked a bunt. That's the secret to hitting Kluber.

[Ultima Ratio]

Two terrible PAs for Rosie.  You're not Vlad, not yet.

[Riverbrian]

I'm torn between the desire for a big inning and the desire to get the top of the 5th in.

Yeah.. It's really an odd sensation. But I feel it to.

[Squirrel]

1. Best jokes.
7. Worst jokes.

Was it the best of times, or the worst of times?

Yes.

It was a dark and stormy night, but above the clouds it was clear.

Yes.

For the best of jokes and the worst of jokes, it was a dichotomy with a singular answer.

Chief.

In Rosie's defense... Kluber's slider is nearly impossible.

The umps won't hold this game up unless one of them gets washed away in a flash flood.

[Squirrel]

I've been told to use my head just once in my life (yeah, that was you, Chi).

It's no compliment. Everyone who's met me can clearly see that I have none.

That you have no head? That's quite a scientific marvel that you are able to do as you do.

I still have not completely been able to purge the cannibal joke from my mind.

[spinowner]

Dick made a good point on the HBP. Kluber's on a pitch count, so why waste 4 on a IBB to Hunter when he can put him on base in 1 pitch?

Nearly.

Just need contact there is the point, nothing full-throated or aggressive.

ESCOBEAR!!!!!

[stringer bell]

Esco!

[Jerr]

I love crooked numbers for my team!

[Whammy]

Cy Kluber

Ricky NoKluber

[spinowner]

Esco-bro!

[jimbo92107]

Esco! And Sano didn't have to run hard!

[jimbo92107]

Finish him, Mr. Hicks. FINISH HIM!

[Riverbrian]

OK... I can wish for that.

I'm game

No Doubt about it... Always is very impressive.

[jimbo92107]

Finished him with a crushing walk.

[Whammy]

We have a least a hour until the heavier stuff comes.

[Riverbrian]

Cy Kluber

Ricky NoKluber

Putty Kluber

He was meat wrapped in potatoes tonight.

[Aggies7]

Who will stop the rainnnn

Bad Kluber showed up tonight. Hopefully the weather clears up and I can get out of work to get to tomorrow nights game.

I am pretty sure most of the TD moderators have the authority to write get out of work notes.  They are greatly respected by most of the employees in the area and have a fair amount of authority.

[SwainZag]

Hrb! Thanks for including me in your top 5! And 4 votes! Woot! I don't think anyone can compete with RB though, he has a knack four this type of thing.

The boys have more runs off of Kluber tonight than hits in the rest of his starts against us, great thing to come home and see!

Yeah

A couple of stone tablets from Chief have worked for my absences.

[Squirrel]

I still have not completely been able to purge the cannibal joke from my mind.

Good God, man ... don't relive them! That's just ...

<wait for it> ...

ick.

[stringer bell]

Still hate to leave the bases juiced, but a real nice inning.

[Danchat]

Wow... Twins are up 4-0 and the Astros lost again.

Things are looking up. However, we shouldn't forget the Angels are currently tied with us... (if we win here, we'll be .5 ahead of LAA)

No doubt. In fact, North's employer asks HIM what his pay, schedule, and benefits should be when he walks into the office.
