sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Who got ejected? Perkins, apparently, for giving the Umpire grief over a ball call before the homer.

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Wow...Pittsburgh and the Cubs both have better records than every team in the AL, and both will wind up in the wild card behind St Louis. One of them will go home on day after the season ends, taking their 95 wins with them.

Of particular note is Amazon Women on the Moon. By the director of Kentucky Fried Movie. Which brings us back to chicken dinner... Enjoy! And thanks all for putting up with my footprints of paint. (I wonder if an editor woulda helped there... even if it was one word... "no") And of course other eccentricities... Anyway, Thanks for the company! G'night!

Plus certain bloggers are going to have fan blocks will will flood the voting system. No, Substitute a couple of words and I actually think this describes the Minneapolis Park & Rec board more than anything. Plus are we supposed to ignore that some (or all) of the writers may have completed their work with some assistance from a banned substances (or does that actually work in their favor)? . No. Do not ignore this.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 How do you get ejected from a game that is over? You tell him exactly what you wanted to tell him a batter earlier.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Here's some baseball thoughts after the game:I like a bullpen with Cotts, Fien and Boyer in the middle and Perkins, May, and Jepsen at the end.Cleveland is just about done. They are behind three teams by three games or more. I hope the Twins can take advantage of an emotional letdown tomorrow and next week.Dozier's oppo homer was huge. Escobar's 2-run single equally as big.Hughes performance was pretty good. He'll probably get two more chances.I just about gave up all hope after Saturday, but I'm starting to believe again.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 How do you get ejected from a game that is over? It's so cute that the rookie umpire wanted to get his rocks off by tossing a player after the final out. That guy was very very average behind the plate just like his teammate was in last nite's game. I know calling balls and strikes is difficult (I've done it at the high school level for 11 years) but some of these umpires are continuing to show that they just don't know where the strike zone is on a consistent basis. I thought the Indians pitcher got hosed last nite before we put 3 runs on the board and tonite's zone was just as bad.
