So we've waited through four long years for the Twins to be playing meaningful September games.     All this waiting...Reminds me of my HS prom.   I wanted to rent a tux, so I went to the tux rental p

I'm ok with the swinging bunt call, but I think he should have had Escobar hit the ball another 355 feet, so, bad call.

Stars of the night:

First Star: Sano- Game Winning PH HR. Enough said

Second Star: Boyer- 5 outs, two of them in insanely high pressure spots. Dude is looking like "good Boyer" again the last week. Hope he keeps it up.

Third star: Suzuki- can't throw out a guy to save his life, but he stood tall when Boyer hung him out to dry and broke up the no hitter/shut out with a bomb.

honorable mention:

pelf: 1 ER in 5.1 IP? Not great, but workable!

Thanks, Mike Pelfrey.  You can eat fries from my garbage can and crap on my windshield any time!

If you can handle this game, i think you're cleared to watch the play offs.

This has been a test of the fan safety (inter)net device.

Thank you for participating.

What about game 163? Which had about 5x as much drama as this game (not putting down this game at all!) or game 6/7 in 91 which each had like 20x the drama?

Oh- dammit!  I'm late for the chicken?!?!

Well, at least there's pie....  mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....!

Good job by the boys.  Tore me up to step away for the Jepsen part.

Good night, all.

Now, off to lunch time meeting with the Drama Club-   a different one than this one, that is.

A 37-page game thread.  Is that a record?

I don't think I'm going to get all the way caught up tonight.

When you get to Chief's prom story you can skip over to p. 6 or 7.

I got a little bored so sat on the 'puter in the other room, but when I heard Sano was coming up to bat I headed back to the tv.  Never know what he might do!
