twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Wait, Buxton got a hit? I went to the bathroom, this was unexpected.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I'm outta Likes... I ran out. Is there any point in going on? Well I think a lot of people come to the game threads just to hear your sharp analysis of the game and your thoughtful observation or advice on the rare occasions you go off topic from the game, and would be disappointed if you left.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Gotta give Boyer some big time credit there. Other then his Brain fart on the throw to home, he came up aces.He did make the play though.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 That young Sano lad certainly can give it a thump.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 That was CoolLike-- totally. Wow.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Man, if I was a Royals fan, I'd be awfully salty about that missed call right now. Their magic number of 13 would make that salt go away rather quickly
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I don't believe what I just saw!I know ... it was a ****ing wow moment.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I don't believe what I just saw!Jack Buck ref, for the young'uns.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 He did make the play though. I don't want to quibble, but that play he made could have ended our starting catchers season (sounds like he will be ok fortunately) Good result, terrible execution.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Now # 28 to put it away... come on dozier!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Going to the bathroom was unexpected?Oh Glunn, never change.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Going to the bathroom was unexpected?Sometimes. Depends.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Jack Buck ref, for the young'uns. years later his son said something almost as poetic "That is absolutely disgusting! I'm sorry you all had to witness that" - buck on randy moss
Blake Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Bremer needs to get off that missed strike three. We've already seen a KC batter get two strike threes before flying out.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Going to the bathroom was unexpected? Esp. since he as already finished a case of Summit.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Jack Buck ref, for the young'uns.Or Joe Buck if you're into copying things your dad made famous.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 To be fair, that was definitely a strike. But the royals can deal with a bad break or two The thing is, over the course of a game, about 25-50 pitches (I'm guessing) are called strikes that aren't strikes and vice versa. Unless they go to a computerized umpiring system everyone has 20-20 hindsight and it must be tough to be an ump.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Please Jepsen, nice quick inning. That's all we ask!

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Or Joe Buck if you're into copying things your dad made famous.Joe takes a lot of flack, but his "we will see you tomorrow night" homage to his dad was pretty classy and awesome IMO
