I have made a lot of bad posts, and put some bad ideas out there but bring Eric Fryer to the 40 man and 25 man roster equals worst thread starter ever. Thought being positive this thread would some how work, nope not to be.  

Fryer joining the team wasn't the worst thing ever. At least they were trying to improve from Herrmann's inept batting. 

 

But, predictably, it hasn't worked out. It wasn't the worst thing ever.

I saw that one- I thought it was just a curve ball that got away.  Agreed, Cola looked like he thought he was low-bridged.  Should have gone inside again, on purpose.

 

I lived near Oakland when McGwire was a rookie.  For years, he'd look at a high inside curve ball and duck his head over the plate and get hit when it dropped.  Then he'd get hacked off, like someone was trying to headhunt with a pitch that was a borderline strike.  What a doofus.

Less teeth gnashing than I remember in the Hendriks DFA thread. We must have been full of holiday spirit. Interesting that there were lots of folks questioning why Hendriks was DFA'd (with an option remaining no less) instead of, dun dun dun Eric Fryer.
