I actually kinda like him. He isn't afraid to knock a player, even if I don't agree with his take a lot of the time. He's not an unabashed homer and I appreciate that about him.

I think they are fazing out Bert.  If he wants a day off they say fine, but take a week.  He wanted 3 days off for the HOF and they said fine, take 3 weeks.  It's ok by me.

Has anyone noticed Mauer doesn't line up for the National Anthem?  He didn't in spring training either and a guy I know mentioned it to Molitor and told him he didn't like it.  Next couple of games Mauer was out there, but then quit.  He doesn't line up now either.
