I didn't see Gose's triple in the bottom of the 4th.  Was it REALLY a ball that should have been a triple or was it one of those that should have been a single but due to slowness it turned into a triple?

It was a single... Schafer misplayed it badly... Giving him a triple is just plain goofy.

Actually, i think that was the one that squeaked under Torii's glove.

 

Both that and Torii's catch are in the highlights on gameday.

 

The funny part with this one is the tigers announcers say Torii is able to get over, but not to bend over.
