Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 He did get the out.OK, that's good to know. Thanks.
Tibs Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Quick question, why did J. R. Graham come out and throw just one pitch and then left and didn't get an out (according to ESPN gameday) ? Cause YOLO
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I didn't see Gose's triple in the bottom of the 4th. Was it REALLY a ball that should have been a triple or was it one of those that should have been a single but due to slowness it turned into a triple?
curt1965 Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Masters Par 3 update: Jack Nicholas gets hole-in-one on #4. 3 under thru #4. Circus Boy Masters update.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 So ... why not put in Escobar instead of Nuñez ?
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 ok so he can pinch hit for Dozier
70charger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Uh oh, Dick and Bert are talking pitch framing. It's gone mainstream.
James Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 So ... why not put in Escobar instead of Nuñez ?Because if you're going to give up, you might as well really give up.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Uh oh, Dick and Bert are talking pitch framing. It's gone mainstream.Cory and Danny were too.
70charger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 During the breaks on mlb.tv, they're showing some highlight clips from various years. They just showed Jeter's 3000th hit, which was a home run. There's a soft spot in my heart for that hit - it happened on my wedding day.

Giving him a triple is just plain goofy.
Jham Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Don't be negative! Early selections in the draft will help build a consistent winner. That is, if they ever get out of the minor leagues. We're getting to the point where our first high draft picks may not even be around by the time our latest high draft picks make it up.

twinscowboysbulls Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 You guys still feeling positive and optimistic? Bullpen is crap, Rotation is crap. Offense is struggling. TTB!
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 How did Aaron Thompson look?Scraggly, with that haircut.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 It was a single... Schafer misplayed it badly... Giving him a triple is just plain goofy. Is that different than the other misplay that Schaefer had on Kinsler's single in the same inning that they gave him a two-base error on?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I am still positive....but I refuse to type what I feel positive about right now btw, what, exactly, is wrong with liking unicorns?

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 It was a single... Schafer misplayed it badly... Giving him a triple is just plain goofy. Actually, i think that was the one that squeaked under Torii's glove. Both that and Torii's catch are in the highlights on gameday. The funny part with this one is the tigers announcers say Torii is able to get over, but not to bend over. (and to be fair, bending over while running at full speed is hard)
70charger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Pitching change? Really? ...Really?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 How was his pitching?I'm probably the wrong guy to answer since I'm far from being his advocate, but he got through his time on the mound today. Didn't seem to be any mystery to the batters though.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I can't say I'm to surprised. It's gonna be a very long season, and that's being optimistic.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 Now that all's said and done (or at least done), perhaps that could have gone better. Back to, well, not exactly work, but doing things i should have gotten done.
