I wish someone in the organization would tell me what they see in Ricky Nolasco.  If a dummy like me can tell he's terrible just based on what we saw in 1/2 the season last year, why am I still seeing him in a Twins uniform?

I think teams have a lot of say in the construction of the schedule, and the Twins likely request to avoid early season home games. At one time they also requested to avoid home games for Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, on the principle attendance would be down due to family picnics and whatever, but maybe that has changed with time.

I went to the bar at lunch to watch a bit of the game,  I only got to see the half inning where Nolasco was forced out.  There was at least one play there turned in by our CF that turned a single into a triple. And I think I missed another OF misplay (or play that would have been made by a better OF). Anyone who is watching care to go over that half inning?

We cannot pitch, hit, or play defense.  Just so F-ing pathetic.  If we are going to suck I want us to suck with good young players.  Not with mediocre veterans like Stauffer, Schafer, Robinson, Hermann, Nunez, Boyer, Milone, and Duensing.  

 

What sad is a small market team has so much money invested in a horrible pitcher like Nolasco, a has been like Mauer, and a moronic PED user like Santana.
