Not that I think they'll be overconfident, but can't overlook the Royals. Don't get complacent. That home series against them back in early June really set us back and might be one we'll regret we slip away come September. Should've won 3 of 4 that weekend. 3 really tough losses - including that awful misplay by Kreidler/Keaschall before the rain delay in the Thursday game (top 3 most infuriating moments of the season), the last time our bullpen lost a game in the 9th on Saturday (after Arcia's clutch homer in the 8th), and a near epic comeback that fell just short in the Sunday finale. 

Win Twins!

Rogers is having a very nice month of July. Probably a lot of BABiP luck etc, but only one run allowed in 7+ innings. Also, Fundy has been pretty good in July on what has to be close to his last chance--one run allowed in 9 innings and significantly only two walks.

2-5 against KC on the season so far. Time to get some of those games back.

Have you not been watching for the last 10 years? He's streaky, always has been and probably always will be. If he's healthy, he'll come out of it and be a force, we just don't know when. Also, he's not the guy you want hitting with the tying or winning runner in scoring position. That has been true for more than 2026.

Yup, .238 BABIP for him in July, compared to a composite .370+ in the other months.  Your instinct was good.  His prior three seasons have come in at almost exactly league norms for BABIP, so this year he's still running a little high, and was overdue for a month like this.  Stay the course - he's not a shutdown guy but he can pitch.
