If Kreidler keeps up his production - his defense is solid……….I do not see Culpepper until they wave the white flag in August, or maybe September, if they hang around the Wild Card race.

Culpepper should be in a groove before being brought up ……,seems that’s 3-5 weeks away with his current health.

Kreidler is somehow hitting & hitting more……. I don’t get it, but he’s actually doing it routinely. I see no reason to move off him as long as “winning” is the goal.

I like Kreidler's defense and he has had a good streak at the plate in the last week.  At the end of May, he played a seven game stretch that he started every game and was 4 for 18.  Does he get exposed playing more, who knows but can he really turn from .150 hitter into even a .200 hitter.  I am not sure I want to hold back one of our top two prospects to see if he can sustain it.  Even the Twins aren't buying into him, he didn't make the team out of camp and they started Gray two of the three games this weekend.  I prefer him over Gray but we will see what they do in Houston facing all right handed pitching.  There is no perfect moment to bring up a prospect but when you have two journeymen ahead of him, if he proves he is healthy he should be up here. Don't hold him back because of a one week stretch of good games from Kreidler.  Keep Kreidler as the utility and send Gray packing.

At this point - he gives them the best chance of good results! I’d easily take .750-.760 OPS if the SS has a decent glove. …….. others here said in Spring Training that he was “the worst hitter in all of MLB”. He sure seems to be squaring the ball up pretty often - too often to think it’s just good fortune, as you mentioned. Pencil him in 5 days/week at a minimum, IMO.

Yes I was one of those that said he would "never" be good with the bat and something to the effect that he wasn't worth the roster spot.  So yeah looks like I am gonna be quite wrong about this one.

I agree even a .750 OPS makes him very valuable.  We'll see how things go it's only 90 at bats, but he has made me change my mind about him.

Average MLB OPS is between .710 and .720. I believe Kreidler is an asset with a number lower than .700 with his good defense at two of the three most important defensive positions.

Provus has mentioned Kreidler's improved bat speed as a major factor in his offensive improvement. Another factor would be a much improved K percentage.

Prielipp is quite talented. How nice that he's finally healthy long enough to show it to everyone. We've definitely needed him.

Rockies aren't very good, but last season they put the last nails into the season. Better to get the series win for sure.

Morris is giving signs that he's a reliever that can be counted on, which is nice. Can we find 3 or 4 more?
