    So your telling me a 2nd half of injuries effecting his performance just magically made Joe Ryan a undesirable trade asset lmao I promise you team will still line up to aquire a starter coming off a 3.8 era maybe price isn't as insane as could of gotten at the deadline this year . Personally think over is the guy who's moved to open up a rotation spot if they trade either Pablo or Ryan it's at the deadline if they end up sellers which also allows them to rebuild value by proving they are healthy again

    It's cool in theory until you remember Clemens is the everyday 2nd basemen I don't think Royce plays good enough to bench a significantly better player . I'm not sure Royce even gets tendered a contract since that Toronto playoff series he's been a average or worse hitter so personally think IF he's here next year can't be anything more then a utility bat that platoons with either Clemens or whoever plays 1st . Sad for a #1 pick but if he was gonna turn it around would of happened facts are he's a bust of a #1 pick . Maybe a fresh start elsewhere is best for both sides since really no good spot for him because sometime next year when Houston comes up 2nd base will be going to him or culpepper. Whoever plays 2nd is only a fill in until then

    Thing I don't get about hoffman is why it took so much to get why if you were giving up 3 prospects feel like the pitchers should of been a lower level arm not our #1 or #2 if you think quick passed him on top on a decent reliever , young infield prospect. Feels like if you gave up hill should of been a straight swap maybe they had to overpay to outbid other teams . It's worked out well so far but still think at some point hill makes the deal look bad he's the only piece id be worried about moving out of everyone twins moved reyes is a guy I enjoyed but hard to know what he will be when he's so far away

    That swing is a thing of beauty I'm looking forward to seeing him turn the flashes into consistent production going forward honestly with how hard he's hitting the ball I don't have any concerns about him even with the recent slump .wish him & jenkins had came up sooner feel like if they did and were already used to the majors months ago this 2nd half goes a little better even tho I get waiting just in case one of the rookies can win rookie of the year for the draft pick possiblity. It's pretty fun to see him & jenkins demolished baseballs when they connect fully

    Edwards would be a fun add curious what id take to aquire him twins should definitely try aquiring him or a similar on base threat . Personally think one of Ryan or Pablo is moved before opening Day think they try a extension first but if not move on don't think they want prelip in St Paul I mean Ryan for example could even be swapped for a a position player to add to the lineup . Not sure I see Jeffers being back tho don't think he's accepting the qo because someone will give him a long term 15-18 aav wouldn't hate him taking the qo while would be a overpay would be cool to have a good catcher until lackey is ready for the magic in 2028 maybe late next season but that feels unlikely since ended the year in high A prospects rarely go thru 3 levels in a year I don't think the twins can compete with caratini getting most the starts if it's not Jeffers gotta get a viable short term replacement imo

    Personally think zebby,lee & taj earned roles next year everyone else it's time to move on id understand keeping Royce for a utility role but not sure he'd even thrive in it as for martin the regression is enough to move forward with a outfield of buck,Jenkins ,emm ,keashall although maybe they want 5 outfielders with most of said guys having injury concerns. Unfortunate how many of these guys flopped but that prospects reality is most prospects you hype up end up flaming out because mlb is hard . Hopefully start replacing the flops they are a big reason twins have collapsed 3 years in a row now

    Lol if we're being honest he should of been dfa'd a while ago but sure lets let him be the closer for the last year series doubt he'd even get 2 saves needed but with twins pretty much eliminated why not maybe they can even higher the lottery odds . Not sure that top 10 in saves is some huge deal I mean assuming gomez here for a few more years he's likely to pass him to knock him back down the list regardless

    Don't think it's Royce unfortunately unless he rediscovered his bat this off-season. Young term it's one of the 3 top catcher prospects who eventually turn into a 1st basemen be cool if they gave sabato a chance but outside of that curious if they eventually give keashall a run at 1st otherwise probably just gonna sign a new vet to play the position every year like they been doing be cool if a prospect could take the job so they can have it solved for a while instead of the new starter every year thing they been doing

    They really waited 12 extra days instead of calling him up on the 1st when rosters expanded so they could give Ross 5 ph abs . He should of been up that way he could of got a full month of abs to show what he's got . Honestly outfield should be keashall,emm,jenkins rest the year with the twins pretty much eliminated no reason for vets to play anymore. I'm hoping we see some of his power potential show up . Congratulations to emm finally getting the call well deserved

    Hayes has already confirmed that Jeffers will not accept the qo so twins would be effectively giving it to him to not lose him for nothing assuming new cba don't take the option away . Personally think twins should consider extending Jeffers could always trade him later if you have to down the line . Twins ceiling is so much lower without Jeffers all due respect to caratini but he's not a great starting catcher if money is a issue they could easily clear off caratini contract that way there aren't paying both Jeffers & also paying caratini 7 million . Worry about how bad the offense could regress next year with no Jeffers

    Honestly I appreciate how lee accepted the move and didn't pout about a in season move . He's been pretty great at 3rd I'll be interested to see what the numbers end up over a full season I mean it was pretty clear last year that he didn't have the range to play SS which is fine especially when they have culpepper and eventually Houston to play SS . Personally I'd keep lee at 3rd going forward and eventually play culpepper at 2nd when Houston in ready late next year . While lee bat isn't perfect a what should be close to 3 war season is a win assuming offense continues to improve gotta think he can be worth about 4-5 war now that he don't have SS defense dragging it down .

    Honestly wouldn't be shocked if Royce is traded this off-season while in theory there's offense in there but reality is after his few weeks hot streak after the recall he's been bad again and hasn't been much better at 1st then he was at 3rd this year . Maybe they keep him if they can't find a upgrade for everyday 1st basemen but feels like a easy fix always multiple vets available for pretty cheap . Disagree on lee he's been one of our best hitters this season and has earned his everyday role going forward I don't really care what the expected numbers say at this point he's sustained this all year so I'm gonna assume he's gonna be a guy those stats don't like but remains a quality player especially when the defense is no longer terrible. Overall I agree with the list I think there will be a better option at cleanup hitter since I'm assuming there will be a cap floor next season so gotta think twins will be adding a top of the order bat I might even just put Jenkins in that spot . E rod has to come up on Tuesday need to get a look at his the rest this season that way next year isn't his first chances against MLB pitching since he will be out of options

    It should be a wrap on his time here after the season. Which is why they should of moved him at the deadline instead of losing him for nothing I mean Rockies got something for a outfielder with a 500 ops you can't convince me twins had no offers for larnach should of created a spot for e rod or jenkins instead of praying that the hot 1st continued when evidence showed it was unlikely. Not sure any team offers even a low level prospect for him this winter with him being due for another raise in arb . Easy non tender but thought it was just as easy last off-season so who knows twins always make head scratching moves . Hopefully they give e rod a shot in September be nice to see what he can do that way next year not his 1st time facing mlb pitching

    All due respect but how the hell is young listed here ? Ops in the 600s & striking out I believe close to 40% of the time ? Not to mention 30+ errors I'm sorry but 14 homeruns isn't enough to outweigh all the bad in his game currently. Ben ross should be in his spot imo if I'm being honest I don't think young is even a top 40 prospect anymore until he gets the k rate to a respectable level for a power hitter or starts hitting 30 homers a year to make up for the lack of every other aspect of the game. Honestly twins should be considering demoting him be clearly wasn't ready to play in low A yet which is tough for a pretty early draft pick again hopefully he turns it around but feel like he's on the list simply because of where he was drafted at this point

    Feel like tinney ends the year in high A probably didn't wanna promote 2 catchers at the same time with Tait also at high A my guess is they hope Tait gets hot enough to warrant a promotion then call up tinney in a week
