  1. I agree with Doc Lenz here. We fans can simply fold our tents and look for another team to cheer on, or we can take a cleansing breath, be happy to move on from the front office debacles of the Correa, Mahle and Paddack transactions (a few others as well) and embrace a future with our excellent existing core and the outstanding talent we have coming up in the next 2 or 3 years. Yes, we’ll all miss the 10 players we just moved at the trade deadline, but as hope springs eternal I’m looking forward to the fresh new faces we’ll see in 2026.
  2. Now that we can’t catch many games on TV, I sure miss the voice and delivery of Corey Provus.
  3. IMO, the slower start to his being productive may be attributed to getting such a late start facing live Major League pitching. I’m quite certain Buck is not happy with his performance so far either, but the FO has to accept responsibility for their “erring on the side of caution”.

  5. Just attended the HOF Breakfast honoring this year‘s class of inductees, Danny Gladden, Ron Gardenhire and Cesar Tovar (posthumously). Nice to see how the supporting cast (Fast Eddie, Bert, Herbie, Gagne and Moreau) genuinely appreciated the contributions and skill-sets of these new HOFers. Of course none of them could let the opportunity pass without casting some irreverent inside-the-clubhouse barbs at each other. Even our host, Marney Gellner, was on the receiving end of a couple of them. Danny and Gardy look really good, and clearly appreciate the honor. This will be a fun and memorable induction ceremony for each of them today and tomorrow.
  6. A very interesting observation by #33 Justin during the Twin’s Wednesday game broadcast points to the similarity of the swings of Miranda and Albert Pujols, as well as Miranda’s ability to use the whole field by letting the pitch get deep before unloading. Also witness the similar body shape and early defensive metrics between the two of them at this very early stage of his career. IMO, extend him now!
