No Arcia in the lineup against a LH.  For all those that said he would be a great trade chip at the deadline, he first needs to get on the field.  But why is he here if they aren't even going to play him against LH pitching.  He is another bad option but you would think he would be in there at some point.

And why is Kreidler not at 3B, Lee is the shortstop.  Show faith in him, the decision was made for him to be the starting shortstop, don't move him around especially for a utility player.  And Kreidler actually played the most games at 3B this year in St. Paul.  And people wonder why the young players don't have success.

Per Bobby N:

Gabriel Gonzalez is in the lineup against Red Sox lefty Payton Tolle. Gonzalez, who will make his MLB debut, is batting fifth and starting in left field.

How about that!

We have too many great hitters to have room for everyone in the lineup! Calm down, I'm sure someone will soon get hurt and he can play too.

I don't want him in the lineup or even on the roster, this is more of an indictment of Zoll's decision making to even bring him up here.

Looks like Gasper has had quite an influence on Tolle.  Has Mario found his Luigi?

Ex catchers lit it up Wednesday.. Pipe down Mick!

All the tips, tricks, and hacks you'll need to maximize your visit to the legendary Fenway...

Saw TC series there about 25 years ago.  Did the morning tour where a guide takes you all around the stadium then out on the warning track for a trip completely around the field.  Can't touch the grass or go into the dugouts but could briefly go in green monster.

Might be time to slide Lee to make room for Culpeper sooner than we think

That's what my rampant speculation would think of as well.  Either they think Culpepper is close or Kreidler is a better SS and they want Lee to get used to the hot corner again before Culpepper is called up.

Mmm, as much as it b is good to habe Buxton in thr lineup, maybe it would have been better for him to do a mjnimum IL stint, rather than being a full time DH.

I wonder about that as well.  It didn't seem to work well for him before being just a permanent DH.  Let's hope that he is close to being back in the field and this isn't a lengthy stay on the DH trail.

Should be an interesting game with this defensive alignment of players ...

Who's better as a centerfielder  ??? Martin or Kreidler ...

Arcia could have played SS or thirdbase  ...

Looks like a game of musical chairs tonight  ...

Every challenge, rotate one position clockwise on the infield and one position counterclockwise in the outfield.

Hunt the good!

Let's start off rolling, a couple times to take the lead early would be a refreshing change! I say 50/50 odds we see SWR tonight.
