Jackson signaled, and told him to go to first. I think it was the correct play. Keaschall gave him no target. He was still trying to get back to first base.

He was 15 feet from home, I don’t get what he was thinking, maybe the throw to 1st was a clue he couldn’t make 10 foot throw to the inside of home plate to get the tag applied…. It is amazing how many pitchers can’t throw the ball to a base… in this case home plate.
