Ryan Atkins Verified Member Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I missed this one earlier... the Twins have signed Orlando Arcia to a minor league deal. Twins Sign Orlando Arcia To Minor League Deal - MLB Trade Rumors Technically, this is not former Twins news. However, Orlando is the younger brother of former Twin great Oswaldo Arcia. So, there's that.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Two very obscure former Twins signed minor league deals. Davis pitched 5 forgettable innings for the Twins last year. Chembry Verified Member Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Noah Davis signed a minor league deal with the Pirates. Literally one of the worst pitchers in the history of MLB. Highest ERA by any MLB pitcher with at least 60 IP since 1890. How is he still getting a chance? https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/01/pirates-sign-noah-davis-to-minor-league-deal.html

If I remember correctly, he didn't give up a single earned run for the first 2 or 3 months of the season, then imploded and was released another month later. What iniitally looked like a great signing ended up being a train wreck. farmerguychris 1

stringer bell Verified Member Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 I didn't see it noted earlier, LaMonte Wade Jr. signed a minor league deal with the White Sox. The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I suppose this is more of a "where are they not" than a "where are they now", but for old friend Carlos Correa, he will not be at the 2026 World Baseball Classic The reason? The insurer agreed upon by MLB and the union has deemed him uninsurable, and he'd risk forfeiting his contract if he got injured
stringer bell Verified Member Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Darren McCaughan, who pitched a few innings for the ‘25 Twins, signed a minor league deal with Cincinnati.
