bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 0-1 Martin and Ryan almost single handedly won the game yesterday. Today Martin isn’t starting. Things that make you go ummm. Currently have the 6th best draft odds. glunn and Vanimal46 1 1
bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Author Posted August 2, 2025 0-2 Think I would have rather had Martin pinch hit for Kiersey than pinch run for Julien. Ohl may be useable at this level. Still need to teach the players how to bunt. Vanimal46, glunn and Twodogs 2 1

bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 5, 2025 Author Posted August 5, 2025 1-3, Pittsburg picked up a game today. Atlanta, A’s Orioles and Pirates are all within 4.5 games. The White Sox are 10 games back. They seem to be playing better but I’m still not sure they can catch us in the win totals in 50 games. I do think Washington and Colorado will be in the bottom 3 records. If the Twins were to have a bottom 3 records they would have a 26% chance at the first pick and 70% chance at one of the first 3 picks.

jaimedude Verified Member Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 I would claim Jorge Alcala back if he becomes available. Why not he still throws hard and the bullpen is thin. Maybe he learned something with his time in Boston. glunn and bunsen82 2

bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Author Posted August 9, 2025 4-3 Ryan mowed em down. The hitters hit it well, and the bullpen was solid enough. Still some improvement needed with Adam’s and Kristen but there is definitely some talent to work with. glunn 1
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Am I the only one finding this version of the Twins more fun to watch than the June-July version? Correa walking around the dugout with a back brace was sort of a metaphor. This version seems to be playing with some urgency and a chip in their shoulder. glunn, Jerr, USAFChief and 2 others 4 1

bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2025 Author Posted August 17, 2025 6-9 A drubbing on Friday, just not enough decent pitching on Saturday. Matthew’s has talent but only went 4 innings with 4 walks. As it stands there are 11 teams within 6 wins of each other. The Twins have 7 games against the White Sox, and series against A’s, D’backs, and the Angels in the next month. glunn 1

bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2025 Author Posted August 18, 2025 Twins feasted on Paddack today. He thought they weren’t getting enough food so he gave them all the meatballs they wanted. His 3 ERA with Detroit got drastically inflated. 7-9. Better than I expected at this point, especially giving regular run to Gasper, Julien, Martin, and Roden and our work in progress bullpen. shortround81, RpR and glunn 3
bunsen82 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2025 Author Posted August 18, 2025 Just to show how tight the teams are for draft percentages for the lottery. Cardinals 61 wins (ineligible for lottery) Rays 61 wins Giants 60 wins Angels 60 wins (ineligible for lottery) Diamondbacks 60 wins Marlins 59 wins Twins 58 wins orioles 57 wins Braves 56 wins A's 56 wins You then have the Rockies and Washing who should be picking 10, 11. The White Sox and Pirates have the 2 highest draft probabilities pretty much locked up. There is massive variability in draft slot based on just a few wins for a draft that is considered one of the best drafts in the last decade. You can range from 3 all the way to 14 based on a few wins. glunn 1
