After today now what happens?

Well no one watches them right now. So I would guess, no one will still watch them going forward.

They messed up big time when they weren't able to be watched on TV. Then they basically told the fans they weren't going to try to win the last couple season. What a bunch of nitwits.

Hopefully they DFA a couple of guys and move some guys up.....

Then they have to pay the players salary for the rest of the year. We know that's not going to happen.

Fangraphs has him unranked, but under power pitcher sleepers:

Horn was last year’s sixth rounder out of Liberty. He’s a vertically-oriented lefty who was 92-95 in his most recent ACL outing prior to list publication. That’s up above the 91-92 he sat in 2024. His breaking pitches are also a few ticks harder now.

He's in A ball/complex, so a 22 year old college guy not even in A ball full time yet.....a true lottery ticket. I'd make him a RP right now and put him in A or A+ ball.

Anyone else think Rocco regrets signing an extension? Corey Provus is gonna walk in and demand a trade.

Who cares what he thinks… no way he deserves an extension. Fire him tomorrow and he will be waiting for another club to pick him up.

No you can’t!!! This year is done but we still must support our twins no matter what!!! It will be 3-4 years but this had to be done going forward!!! We got top prospects ready to step up!!! No expectations whatsoever!!! This is better! Let’s see how the kids do!!!

Missed the TJ.....I still move him to RP and be aggressive (once fully healthy). He's already 22 and hasn't really pitched.....

Hope castro is dealt ,  at this point he will only take playing time for Younger players ,  Gotta get him away from BALDELLI

You have to keep someone who knows where the Trojan helmet lives

Oh please. Correa is super competitive and would not fake being hurt. If he goes back to his old self that's a major indictment of the Twins coaching staff, scouting, and FO, which FYI, are horrible according to the MLB players I know

I said it yesterday Correa gets away from TC and he will end year with a 750+ OPS

What if by some miracle twins go on a hot streak-make playoffs after today?

My guy.. your enthusiasm is boundless.

We do still have Buxton/lewis/ryan/pablo/lee. Soon culpepper/jenkins/carmago next year or 2 all isn’t lost

I'm thinking Castro will be pretty pissed off if he isn't dealt at this point.

I don't know. He's a different sort. Probably going to happen anyhow. There are two more announcements I am really fearing we will get .. not long now.

What have we truly lost so far?

We still have Lopez, Ryan, Ober.   We have Jax, Sands,  Varland.  You have Buxton, Lewis, Jeffers,  Lee.   You have some pieces to build around.

I am not totally against what’s happening, other than Duran. We have the pitching… we are awful at making contact, playing defense and base running. What have they done to improve the lineup? Seriously, they haven’t received one everyday player that will help next season. As stated before…. They need help at 1st, 2nd, don’t see Lee as the answer at SS, at least one corner OF, if not both as Walner and Larnich have regressed at the plate and are liabilities on defense, and Jeffers is alright for a catcher at the plate but brings below average defense. These trades do nothing to help next year and I don’t see the cheap ass owners going in on the FA market, or until it’s dumpster diving time. So call me a little pessimistic in what i am watching.

My biggest concern, which has been the same for awhile now, is if we haven't figured out why we can't seem to develop an above average ML hitter, is it wise to trade for young hitters who may get botched by our player development program? If we don't fix that or aren't willing to bring in quality FA bats, we'll never be a true championship contender. Like is it bad luck or is there some flaw in our hitter development process? What are the odds that all these highly-regarded hitting prospects have bombed in the last 10-ish years?

Odds of all bombing  astronomical yet hear we are
