Sure...win the 1st game, score a bunch of runs...then we do nothing and lose the next 2. Probably find a way to lose tomorrow too.

They own us just like the Yanks!

Cleveland’s formula isn’t difficult to replicate. They win with pitching, defense, and fundamentals. Jose Ramirez anchoring the lineup and they need 1 or 2 others to come through that particular day. Winner.

Telling y'all nab McCusker and Royce.. Columbus ain't far. Pablo will drive down and get em

Exactly, we need McCusker and Royce Lewis up and Gasper and Clemmons out if here.

It’s not being discussed enough… The Twins are 16-31 against the Guardians since 2022. 3-17 in 1 run games. 6 walk offs.

Can't wait to hear this being rationalized as some sort of "bad luck." Don't worry, it'll correct itself.....

Another 4 wasted at bat's on a no talent like Gasper. I would not sign him to play for the Saints. Gasper is a very limited hitter with low ceiling. Zero reason Gasper should be polluting 40 man roster beyond injuries. I rather have Jake Cave and he is old.

Honestly though, Idk if I could stand being a Cleveland fan either. Their ownership is d*****t, they don't resign even marginal talent, they're basically TB light except they'll sneak into the postseason by winning what's fairly consistently the worst division in baseball rather than having to match a team like NY or Boston.

Wow, even worse than I thought.

One of the things this says is the top of Cleveland’s bullpen has been better than the Twins, as it continues to be. That alone though can’t explain 3-17. Twins bullpen hasn’t been THAT bad.

What else could be at play? Probably better defense and baserunning. What else? Hmm.

It sure isn’t their superior offense which has been pretty horrible during that entire stretch.

It’s not really fun being a fan of any central division team, AL or NL. I’d rather watch a fundamentally sound team than watch our pitchers sail throws over the 1B’s head.

Fair. I did actively cringe listening to the Cleveland broadcast call it "Guards ball," when Ramirez scored and Santana worked his way to 3B. Ugly, but yeah I guess take advantage when ya can and they seem to do it consistently against the Twins.

They've been a slightly less talented, better managed version of the Twins of the 2000s

Don’t look good!     Hitting coach needs to be replaced asap.
Plus, I am very tired of seeing Twins losing games like that.

Call me a homer but I would say it's more than slightly less. Some of those Twins teams from 2002 onward had quite a bit of top end talent. I know Cleveland had some pretty strong rotations around their WS run but their lineup has always been stars and scrubs with a heavier emphasis on the latter.

Can't win if you don't score. Rocco's fault for removing the starter too soon.

First you say we lost because we didn't score. Then you say Pablo left too soon. Only the Twins can't have it both ways.
