Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 The next game is always potentially the start of a winning streak. I'll continue to hold out hope that they can fix some things and make a little run. Not impressed with Cleveland or really Kansas City - as bad as the Twins' offense looks, the Royals don't look any better. Detroit's the class of the division right now but they too are flawed. If the Twins didn't insist on shooting themselves in the foot, they're probably 6-5 right now. But alas, will they ever stop beating themselves? Cory Engelhardt and Randy Griffith 2

Starting pitching was pretty decent during the losing blues last year, nothing looks encouraging to date in 25. As poor as the defense is it really doesn’t matter if you are as flawed offensively as we are. When do we play the White Sox again?
tony&rodney Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 A Keirsey Jr. sighting and Bader gets to play his regular position. Twins win. Twins_Fan_in_NJ 1
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Good idea giving Buxton the night off. Amazing to me how still has the same approach at the plate as he did his rookie season. Guy is completely lost right now. Tlaker and Patzky 2

gregens Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 if the Twins had more baserunners, the sky would be the limit to Correa's hitting in to double plays. Patzky 1
Fornasiere-ite Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 I grew up listening to John Gordon on the radio and Dick Bremer on television and I'm nostalgic for the old times. As time wore on Dick and Bert became tougher to listen to as they both reached the golden years. Love Cory Provus in the booth, and Justin provides some interesting insights. As much as I loved the Hawk as a twin, I cannot stand his color commentary. Hosken Bombo Disco and Patzky 2

KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 I know the Twins are scuffling but good god the Royals look almost every bit as inept offensively. Cleveland shouldn't scare anybody. Idk about Detroit. The ALC looks a lot like it did in 2023 so far this season. It's going to be a rock fight amongst a bunch of painfully mediocre (at best) clubs.

hitterscount Verified Member Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 Not sure if a shutout would do it for us. In all seriousness how much pressure is there on the starters, they must think they cannot afford to give up more than a run or two. Patzky 1

If this is the offense, they won’t finish above Cleveland or Detroit. Not sure the thought process put in to come up with this lineup.
