I think the angels did it on opening day.

Brewers did it in Game 2 when the Yankees scored 20 runs on them!

Julien would need to make major improvements to be considered a below average defender.

He literally double clutches on every throw. That can be fixed. You would think.

Just who was going to get a hit -- no reason to beilieve that

You don’t like the chances of buxton or Correa getting a hit over….Julien and Keirsey? Boy that says something.

If nothing else, since they’re both hitting a COMBINED .077, seeing more live pitches today could be helpful. Certainly more productive than sitting in the dugout. Who knows maybe they could get a few knocks and get the ball rolling for tomorrow. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen guys pulled in the top of the 4th in game 4. But Rocco is a master at player management, as we’ve all seen so I digress

Correa maybe, but Buxton has truly nasty slumps.

If you look at the batting averages in todays box score and pretended they were body weights, only one guy would be considered obese

You're saying Castro's not 96 inches tall? By my math, that would keep his BMI under 30.

Yes, we've gone beyond embarrassing... and with 158 more games to go, the sky's the limit!

Maybe, but those guys should be in the game until at least the later innings. They had to throw a guy in the outfield who has only ever played one inning there in the Puerto Rican winter league (according to the radio guys). Spring training is over.

Sincere Question: The Twins fire Rocco during the season, who on the staff would you want to take over as the interim? My guy says Tingler, but he was at the helm during the Padres metldown

Maybe give Dougie M. a shot--finally? Here's a thought (only made possible by desperate times!) why not float an offer to A. J. Pierzynski? I have no idea if he'd be interested, of course, but that's just the kind of out-of-the-box idea needed to shake the considerable dust off of this organization. He's very knowledgable and was a "take no prisoners" type of player who would, I believe. breathe some life into the Twins.

I don't know...perhaps the past four games have made me a little crazy.

Oooh! Piece of personal history nobody asked for: I was at the first game Willians Astudillo pitched in! We got blown out by the Rays

I have a La Tortuga t-shirt

Pretty sure he hates the twins. As we all do right now

I don't give baldelli credit for anything and have no idea his motivation but...
in a perfect world those two, so called, team leaders / prima donnas would be pulled because they are not playing, not leading and let them watch from the dugout for awhile.

Didn't things end on a sour note with Doug Mientkiewicz?? (I'm proud of myself that I can still spell his last name!!)

Oof, AJ at the helm would be A LOT, especially for a team housed in a state where ketchup is "spicy"

How does Julien go from a 130 OPS+ player in 2023 to whatever the hell we’ve seen since then? The only way he can be tolerable in the field is if he gets back to that caliber of play on offense.

I don’t know that our manager has ever showed much when it comes to player accountability so I highly doubt that. My guess is that it was more about “it’s cold and we aren’t going to win. Why don’t you two stars take the rest of the afternoon off?” than any sort of attempt at sending a message

Buxton shouldn't be load managed at all.  Use him like a 2004 Camry with 200.000 miles on it.
