Yes, it's the umps that cost the Twins wins, not the inconsistant pitching, lack of hitting, washed up veterans, over-paid superstars, or bad managing. If there were robo umps this team would be undefeated.

We are the only team suffering from the moving strike zone.... Please just stop the nonsense! We are playing terrible baseball, it's not the umps!

The lack of timely hitting is unbearable.  The starting pitching is starting to look thin (leaving Ryan out of that).  Stating the obvious, but the team just might not be good enough.  We have too many guys hitting near (and below) .200.  I think a shake-up is in order.

1.  I would bring up Festa and put one of our starters on the DL (likely Paddack).  I would also call up Varland as a one inning reliever.  I would send down Castillo and Sands.

2.  I would call up Wallner and Lee.  Lee might not be ready, and if not, then Martin.  The team needs to be shaken up.  I would DFA Margot & Farmer.  I'm a Farmer fan, but the Twins just can't carry his poor bat any longer.  They don't have that luxury especially when their stars are not hitting as well as expected...Buxton and even Correa.

It’s ok, we’ll start winning once we’re done with the Yankees 😳

Looks like we got stymied by the Yanks & maybe feel into bad habits.

Well, I got exactly what I wished for yesterday: a strong, deep start by Ryan, and getting to the best part of our pen in Jax and Duran........and we lost. 😕

I think from now on I am going to wish on the offensive side.......but where do I start with this bunch? 🙄

(sure would be nice to have Arraez back........sure would be nice to have Arraez back.......sure would be nice.......oh, what's the use?)

Louis' problem was he concentrated too much on solid contact and not enough on launch angle.

Positives out there ....

There was Ryan pitchings well , 4 players that had 2 hits apiece , but they were To far apart to string together a rally , we did out hit pirates ...

The loveable losers  , the cubbies endured year after year of Losing  , I guess I can watch the twins  lose to ,  but it's difficult to watch how poorly this team is Coached ...

what are fundamentals  ? , I haven't forgotten  but the team's plan at playing professional baseball has ...

He was being sarcastic

Yeah , I know... Couldn't agree more.... Just cannot stand fans that place blame on the umps and not where it belongs...

... Tickets are way too expensive despite the fact their stadium was financed publicly...

Please, someone convince me I’m wrong.

How cheap do they need to be? Twins tickets are the same price today (adjusted for inflation) as they were at the Metrodome 20 years ago.

Seats from the box office are as cheap as $18. With fees on Stubhub for Monday start at $19 (literally cheaper than movie seats), and the prices will drop a lot a couple hrs before game time. Easy to find them at $10/ea with fees right now.

Legends Landing right next to Club Level is $51 for unlimited food/drink from the box office.

You can bring your own food into the game. You can bring your own bottled water into the game. Wednesday is $1 hot dog night.

Twins Pass, which is good for every single game in a month is $69-79 for a month, any month you want.

Street parking close to the stadium is under $10. A bus fare from a free parking area near the stadium is like $6 round trip. The North Star runs to select games this year.

What I'm saying is going to a Twins game and eating/drinking is cheaper than going to the movies, and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Random meaningless thoughts. A Twins hitting coach getting tossed because he thought the ump was bad at his job is deliciously ironic.
I don’t care how many career strikeouts Joe Ryan has. There is more to pitching than striking guys out like not giving up home runs

Blaming umpires after every loss is tiresome and pathetic.

And wages have gone up to match the price increases?

all of what you said paints a rose picture, however, your condescending attitude defeated your argument after you made decent points.

Not a great way to convince someone.

stubhub and SeatGeek have fees that can be onerous...yes, I noticed you cited pure prices without the fees.

part of the experience is the ballpark food, but the rosy picture has to include the cheap way compared to what i was able to do.

dollar dog nights have been around for a while…I should know having sat by the twins bullpen during the Knoblauch debacle…

look, it still costs a good amount of money.  Gone are the Wcco days which discounted tickets pretty well.  I went to many games on a limited job’s salary.  Flash forward to today, and I have a much better job but games do not fit in my budget much like they used to with much less money.

That being said, attacking me was meaningless and unnecessary.

You threw a little temper tantrum and now you're complaining about attitude? I don't work for the Twins, and it's not my job to beg you to go to the game.

True, but nobody's going to the movies

For those who remembered their Apple TV+ login from three weeks ago when they paid for, and immediately cancelled their subscription just to watch Cleveland dance all over the Twins, your reward was this: a clash of Central squads hovering around .500.

Fine. Who wanted to watch this stoopid game anyway?

Nevermind that I pay MLB a subscription fee that is supposed to allow viewing of _all_ games. Why does the league think that fans will feel good about these kind of arrangements?

Guess I'll go out back and chop some firewood.

For those of us who don't have Apple TV and missed the Friday game, they decided to play the same game again today.

Thanks, guys.  We were fine with missing it.
