umterp23 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Sweep x2 ... Let's go Twins IndianaTwin, Doctor Gast, Jerr and 2 others 5
CRF Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Detmers is LA's best starter, so this one could be a little tougher. Hopefully, Pablo is ok and pitches more like we're used to seeing from him. Get out the brooms again, and head to Chicago! Doctor Gast, Richie the Rally Goat and big dog 3
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Win today, you're back above .500 and the entire narrative of April 2024 changes. Richie the Rally Goat, wsnydes, Doctor Gast and 2 others 5
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Adell has had a nice offensive series. The Angels have had a hard time finding playing time for him and he's out of options. He's been terrible in the field this series, but his defensive numbers are okay. The Twins have both Wallner and Larnach who hit lefty. Would it make sense to trade one of those guys for Adell? wabene 1

I'll add that Adell has played some center field and has stolen five bases already this season, indicating his speed and athleticism might be superior to either Wallner or Larnach.

I wasn't terribly upset when the Twins were 7-13. It was disappointing but still so early that I wasn't hot and bothered about it. IndianaTwin, Jocko87, Richie the Rally Goat and 1 other 4

I'm not even sure what my narrative would be other than happy none of the injuries are long term. 7-13 is not the end of the world, but it was annoying watching them look like they didn't know which end of the bat to hold for a while. Obviously that wasn't going to continue. This roster is good. Team is starting to perform. Rod Carews Birthday, Richie the Rally Goat, IndianaTwin and 3 others 6

He's played some CF translates to the Angels have put him out there, not that he can actually play out there. The 2 games this series and several occasions I've seen him play is that he's not good. I'm not questioning his athleticism or speed. But yeah sure. Trade one of the 2 mentioned. Sweeten it up and add a top prospect and try to get Detmers too
SD happy Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Hopefully, we will see ‘good’ Pablo today. Not only for this game, but to also give us some assurance for his upcoming games.

Shows how little i pay attention... Next thing ya tell me Correa will be back up too. So in short, Farmer or Castro can go back to being back up at short...

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Going for seven in a row. Have the Twins won seven in a row since Rocco came on board?

Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Where's the bats when you need them?
IaBeanCounter Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Surprised Julien or Kepler weren't in starting lineup. Detmers has given up a higher average to left hand batter than right, 236 v 192.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 I don’t know if that will officially be an earned run, but it should be.

The box score shows it as such. Reconstructing the inning without the error, to the benefit of the pitcher, would seem to have the run scoring anyway, thus the earned run. stringer bell 1
