Todays game is the opposite of yesterdays, and now that Lewis is gone tomorrow will show what the Twins are made of.

Time for Stevenson to show he can hit in the Majors as well as he did in the Minors.

Twins did fine without Buxton, they should do well without Lewis, but as I said , tomorrow will show it.

Stop it.

Buxton was weighing down the offense with a total lack of production. Lewis has been the catalyst to the team’s offensive resurgence over the second half.

Its not the same

I doubt you listen to the radio broadcast.

Provus and Gladden have been talking about Lewis being hurt since that double play, amazed he was left in the game.

I’m amazed too. I know rocco isn’t in the dugout but the twins have erred far on the side of caution over the last couple years. To leave him in for a 6 run game is just, I don’t know

Lewis did not score or drive in any runs tonight, but it is still a question how well they will do.

This is like that scene in "Speed" where Reeves punctures the fuel tank and Bullock sarcastically asks him if he needs any more challenges.

Yup, without him tonight the score would be the same but it still is a hole to fill.

It is a team sport.

You are not wrong. I have no idea how long he has been doing that. Now watch, in his next at bat he will not do it!

He did it again. Kiriloff has been pathetic since his recall except for a couple of balls to left field.

I actually think Lewis took a bad step running out his ball in the 3rd.

How and why do players today feel so much more fragile than they did 50-60 years ago? Players actually had to take part time jobs back then to pay their bills…. athletes today are supposed to be so much better specimens?🤷‍♂️ always get hurt on routine plays?

I guess they are more thoroughbreds now but so, so fragile

If Bremer says 'center cut' one more time I'm going to strap his rump roast to a butcher's band saw.

Ouch……
