    I talked to a few midco subscribers who earlier in the week did the same. Was getting closer to gameday so they pulled the trigger on Twins Tv. Low and behold there it is on 638 the next day. Good way to add to subscriber numbers is to do the last minute negotiations, SOL is a given.

    Switched from Midco to NVC because of last summer's fiasco when Midco dropped them in the Bally dispute. Now this year Midco goes in with the groups signing up to carry Twins Tv. Northern Valley rep in a phone call this morning admitted frustration with MLB negotiations. Looks like they were playing hardball and not really concerned with smaller population areas which leaves many in SD who don't have Midco in the dark. This marketing manager said for the last couple of weeks MLB wasn't returning phone calls so basically any negotiations were over. Time to pony up for the Twins TV package.

    I guess when we mean 11th hour we mean 11th hour.....no additions to the list accept a company saying they aren't doing it

    The chart has grown today but it looks like a lot of independent outfits with a smaller reach. Thanks to Lubuza for updating. As it grows things are looking more promising to believe statements made by Provous and St Peter that it would be likely cable systems who had Twins before would have them again. In Aberdeen we have Midco who is 49% owned by Comcast so they will follow the Comcast route. Northern Valley is our other player who has a good share of the city and a lot of smaller towns along with rural areas in NE part of state. Waiting patiently. Fingers crossed, Go NVC - seal the deal!

    Living in Aberdeen, South Dakota and still attached to the cord there are two players in the cable market here (Midco & NVC) one of which I have. Both companies like Xfinity patrons on this site have little info and basically are in the dark too. If negotiations are happening the least they could do is pass on that tidbit. The customer service reps who take calls on the subject usually are not even aware of the situation which is looming. It would be nice if the response was "MLB and our executives are trying to hammer out a deal - stay tuned" instead of "duh, I dont know what your talking about"

    Its tough to compare Julien's swing this year to last. They were few and far between in 2024 with many AB's having the bat resting on his shoulders taking strike after strike. SWING THE BAT!

    No way.....this is so absurd. The Savanah Bananas are show biz Harlem Globetrotter-esk baseball. As stated in earlier posts the man on second to start the 10th is hard enough pill to swallow. How this even made it to a conversation stage by the powers that be. Do keep this off our manicured fields - YES in this case I am that mid-60's - GET OFF MY LAWN GUY!

    OK - do others on TD see Royce's feet moving all over the place as the pitch is being delivered, mostly almost in a mini back pedal. Never noticed this until the last couple months. He rarely seems to have a solid base or foundation as he is beginning his swing. No way he can generate exit velo or consistent barrel contact.

    Royce's presence on the field and the lineup is the spark that makes us go. Completely changes the atmosphere, attitude and many other adjectives dealing with this team. Anybody can see it. If this is worse than ready to go by October 3 get B. Lee ready to go now!

    Buxton back as dh. 2 for 24 vs Boyd in his career. Maybe another day in the IL or analytics say he’s due. 🥴

    AK will be hitting for Solano by the third trip through the lineup after Ind- I mean Guardians go to the bullpen
