Robertson seemed to be the only Twins-kind of reliever available, and I wasn't enthused about any of them, but what he's done in Miami has next to no bearing on what he hypothetically would have done in Minnesota. It's not like he'd be throwing the same pitches in the same order to the same batters against the same opponents.

So you're saying that what we should have done is traded for Jaime Barria from the Angels?  Since what he did in LA has next to no bearing on what he could do in MN, since he'd be throwing different pitches in different order to different batters against different opponents?

Terrible baseball there by Stevenson.  He needs to get back to second so he can tag as soon as that ball is caught.  If it turns out the ball is not caught, a guy with his speed will easily score from second anyways.  Might not matter at all, but that might end up being the game.

Vasquez for our Leadoff hitter,   W.T.F.   WHAT YA SMOKING rOCCO

Yup, We end up with our worst hitter facing a same-handed pitcher instead of one of our best facing a same-handed pitcher who is tiring and wild. Julien may well have gotten a walk against Poche in that spot, but I guess Rocco's laptop is not that smart.

Jax has like 10 losses but how many more losses has he had a dire t hand 8n. Seems like at least 20 games this season where he let inherited runners score or got himself in trouble by walking or hitting a guy. Jax is turning into th8s teams version of Brian Duensing another overused reliever.

I don't think I've ever, literally ever, criticized Baldelli for doctrinaire handedness-based decisions with the lineup, pinch-hitting, and the like.

Pinch-hitting Vázquez for Julien when down to their last out here feels like a move made by someone who doesn't want to win.

Any time you can PH your backup catcher for your leadoff hitter for no other reason than a handedness advantage, you gotta do it.  Even if that handedness "advantage" comes in the form of a .764 OPS and 102 wRC+.
