Correa with a day off.  His defense hasn't been up to his standards the last couple of days.

TC has a day off before and after 3 game series next week with LAA.  If possible they should rest Correa that series.  That would give him 5 straight days off and then 6 games left in season.

Welcome back, Jorge!  It would be really nice to get on the board early for Keuchel.  I also love the strong getaway lineup going into the 7 game road stretch, go get that division!

Two old men had been best friends for years, and they both live to their early 90′s, when one of them suddenly falls deathly ill. His friend comes to visit him on his deathbed, and they’re reminiscing about their long friendship, when the dying man’s friend asks, “Listen, when you die, do me a favor. I want to know if there’s baseball in heaven.” The dying man said, “We’ve been friends for years, this I’ll do for you.” And then he dies. A couple days later, his surviving friend is sleeping when he hears his friend’s voice. The voice says, “I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there’s baseball in heaven.” “What’s the bad news?” “You’re pitching on Wednesday.”

1-5   yes   6-9  not scaring anyone

Same with the Rangers and several other "scary " lineups.

Lots of interesting updates on Do-Hyoung Park twitter about rehab players.  Must have been a data dump at the news conference.

Bradley has reverse splits, RH hit him better than LH.

Maybe so, but 90 percent of reverse splits are an illusion and the rest will prove wrong.

Correa yesterday, Kepler today.  I'm starting to believe there are no "official" errors anymore..  Tough plays, but made 95% of the time by major league players.

That has to be an error.  Ordinary effort.  Also somehow a 0.590 xBa and I wonder if that plays into it anywhere?  Obviously not a 59% hit rate on that ball but if that figures into scoring decisions it would explain a lot.

Yeah, just saw it.  That's a play Max makes >95% of the time. Wonder if going from sun to shade had anything to do with it.  Either way, gotta give him a big fat E there.

I was watching the shadow live and thought about it before the miss, like uhoh.  Still doesn't matter, sun in the eyes is an error.
