If Gray is done, he did a good job of limiting damage.

A 4-inning start is a very bad result almost no matter how you cut it. Team plays uphill, bullpen taxed right out of the gate in first game of series.

Even though he ended up walking, Julien taking those 3-0 and 3-1 pitches is bad baseball.

This has been discussed a hundred times. We all want Julien to hit some of those pitches. However, Julien does not hit pitches out of the strike zone or on the border of the zone very well. He will be out of the league in no time if he starts swinging at borderline pitches, so he takes those pitches.

Baldelli still knows which pitchers can lose the game, and uses them.

Well he has one good reliever to choose from. This FO bullpen construction philosophy is inexcusable.

Those 2 pitches looked right down the middle of the plate.

I did not understand why the Twins kept Floro. Now in a game that is worth competing for I do not understand why the Twins chose to use Floro versus Tampa Bay. There is a reason that Miami no longer wanted Floro on their team. The Marlins are trying to make it into the playoffs and Floro is not a guy who is helpful in an MLB competitive game.

Julien will probably be back in AAA next year with Wallner.

Both the 3-0 and 3-1 pitches were middle middle. You can't get more predictable, easy to hit pitches.

Perfect opportunity to tie the game on 1 swing.

Nobody is asking for him to swing at balls.

But you can't donanybdamage watching strikes, and getting yourself a predictable pitch is worthless if you do t take advantage of it.

It's bad baseball.

Cant imagine  Floro being on any type of Post season roster, ,  if we get in

Oh he’ll be on the roster, and they’ll use him.  That shouldn’t be where we are with the bullpen, but here we are.  Again.

Gray only went 4

I dont blame Rocco for going to Floro with a 7.5 game lead in the 5th.

Blame should strictly be on the FO that this guy was our lone trade acquisition. Now that is laughable.

Baldelli has to play what he has intelligently, this does not show an intelligent decision.
