Twins (Matthews) vs Tigers (Paddack): 8/5/25, 5:40pm
SAL replied to Brock Beauchamp's topic in Archived Game Threads
I didn't see this mentioned about Paddack's quote to the Detroit press. He ripped the Twins' facilities, stating Detroit's are "amazing" compared to the Twins . Chris Paddack praises Detroit Tigers, recaps Minnesota Twins trade -

Trans rights may be human rights, but so are the rights of biological females, and that includes the right to be safe. The problem with the term transgender is that it includes persons who have had their genitals changed, but also includes males who like to pretend they are a female. For example, there is no logical reason Riley Gaines and her teammates were forced to change in front of Lia Thomas, who exposed his male genitalia to the girls before every meet. What about the victims of rape and sexual assault, why should they have to be exposed to male genitalia while in a female locker room? What about their rights?? Before you reply with name-calling, listen to Riley Gaines' congressional testimony about what happened to her. If you are not upset by this, you do not support women's rights.

"Why Jeffers is a Fit for San Diego Jeffers represents everything the Padres covet: youth, affordability, and potential" Isn't that what every team, especially the Twins, values. Trash proposal, Jeffers for Cronenworth. That's more like it

Predicting the Twins' Top 5 Prospects in 2026
SAL replied to Cody Christie's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
It would be nice if TwinsDaily used captions on the pictures they post in an article. I am unsure which prospect (Charlee Soto, I think?) is in the picture and who he is with.- 20 replies

Trevor Bauer is doing the media rounds and is seeking forgiveness. I've watched Trevor Bauer's Vlog for years and he seems completely different now. Check out his interview. I am pro-Trevor Bauer, he had a great year in Japan, 2.59 ERA, 160 k's in 156 IP, and 1.13 WHIP. I think he is the closest we can do in replacing Sonny Gray on the open market. I think the Twins should sign him, What does everyone think?
-
Agreed, he also disregarded Blue Jays doctors opinions for his own doctor's. He seems like a total headache. He also seems to have an issue with half the players in the league. He would be bad for clubhouse moral.

I feel this is completely inappropriate and out of character for this site. I think the author needs a reality check. I would like your mother or sister to drive through Minneapolis in the evening and rewrite this. My, or Buster Posey's viewpoint isn't the problem, your opinion that I can't express my opinion is the problem. You are what is wrong with liberals today, you aren't at all liberal. You are the biased one.

That is because they raised the pay rate because nobody wants to be a cop for whatever the starting rate is in Minneapolis. Even the city council saw the problem and authorized the raise.
