MLB has got to put an end to this

These losers are never held accoutnable. They just keep working games.

Torres deserves legit bad things to happen to him.

Do we want to fire up a team on a big losing streak?

I wouldn’t

Should they lay down and submit to the Rangers?

No? You score some more runs and blow them out. You flip a bat like garver did and you can expect a HBP. Right wrong whatever, it’s just part of it.

Unless it kicks dirt on them.  This team needs to show an edge, I'm liking it.

After watching C-4 make those 2 great plays at SS just now, please disregard what I said last night about when will Lewis be moved to SS and C-4 to 3B. I was wrong. Let C-4 play SS as long as he wants to. He is incredible.

It started with strike 3 to Correa...then it was strike 2 to Gallo (absolutely egregious).

I have no problem with the ejections...and I have no problem with Sonny's response. If they FINISH this game, it's the kind of thing that can get the guys going.

...and Correa has a cannon.

Five more games with these guys after this one. Might be a little tense out there.

Average exit velo was 100mph for Texas in the top of the 2nd. I’ll accept the one run.

Circling back after the distractions, the average exit velo on Correa double plays this year is 94.4mph.  Three under 81 mph but the rest hit hard.  I accept the coming regression to the mean.

The problem is one of accountability. Folks have stated that we just don't know what consequences umpires face. That is correct on a minor level but we do know that umpires have not been fired or dismissed due to incompetence or suspended for on field behavior. Meanwhile, players are cut, demoted, or dfa'd every day. I think consistency is all the players ask for.

Gallo is fighting for his job and the umpire is yapping back between pitches. Tough spot for Joey.

There was an article today and several recent articles about the ABS system. It favors the hitters because it is very consistent. Some don't like for a number of reasons but as long as we have replay and challenges that are certainly imperfect, there is zero reason not to implement ABS. FWIW (nothing), I was previously opposed to all electronic decisions. Change happens.
