Things were looked fantastic last week against the tigers, up 4-0 early on. It’s been an utter nightmare since then. Conceivably could have won’t every game since then

I dontv think this is funny  that bullpen couldn't hold  on to win either game ...

They could have signed bullpen help last winter or even deadline but choose not to  ....

Will there excuse be that injuries hampered the season again and trainer gets fired again  and they keep all the same coaches ,,,

Again I don't think this is funny ...

I had no excuse not to watch at least part of this game: Isolating because of an extremely mild case of Covid.  Why weren’t you folks doing something else and sparing yourselves the misery?

Some piss poor play, some piss poor managing, some piss poor GMing, with Ortega not available today and a replacement an hour plane ride away.

No bullpen tomorrow, with Texas in town.

Lopez throwing one of them CeeGee’s for sure. Book it*

*don’t actually book it

We flat out DONT WIN games when he pulls the starter in or right after the 5th. Someone please look up numbers, but I would LOVE to see how many times we've had a lead in the 5th the last 2 years, pulled the starter and still won. I bet it's less than 30%, probably much less.

That was ugly. Kind of glad I can't watch most games, frankly.

I don't know what the win probability chart looks like, but I'd go 90% Brewers at this point.

Bull pe.n.   We go with five starters

You wanted Maeda back out there? Most of time when you pull a pitcher that early, you know, they aren't pitching well.....

I think the season turned with Seattle in town. 9-2 coming out of the AS Game, rare successful west coast road trip completed, one W vs Seattle in the books, up 6-2 on Seattle going into the top of the 8th...and Jovanni Moran happens. Four batters later it's tied. All the good vibes, gone.

Lose that game followed by 4 more in a row and back in the ****.

Almost entirely due to the bullpen, too.

Kinda feel bad for Duran though…battled, but beat by a couple of ground balls and a misplay. Is a little concerning that he’s not getting many swings and misses with the fastball tho.

so what was that talk of what the Twins need in the 'second' round of the playoffs?

Looks like they’ll be needing tickets, like the rest of us.

I need 18 more regular season Twins victories for a vegas payout. It feels like they are going to come up short,

I would rather he give it up than burn up your whole bullpen and still lose. He breezed through his last inning of work 1-2-3 with 2K's FYI.

I honestly would love to see the stats I asked about. Surprised Rocco's IPAD doesn't show him.

18-17 or better to finish isn’t out of the question. Probably be close.

No the joke is on the FO  for their evaluation of contructing  this twam

I was very much on board when these guys were hired and I give them some credit for attempting to make roster moves Terry Ryan never would have made.  That said, I cannot stand them now.  They are too bound to analytics.  We went from one extreme to the other and sorely need balance.

When you pull your starter when he is pitching well, rely almost exclusively on your long ball, and field badly, it is not surprising that you lose. Listening to most of the games on the radio is painful. Twins consistently find a way to lose. Attended a game three weeks ago. Bad baseball even with a win but I still hope for the best!

Ober was doing just fine last night and was lifted for no reason.

That’s not true. You just don’t like the reason and it doesn’t suit your constant narrative.
