Say what you will about this team, they are out eeking wins where they can. Better than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

With the extra innings, I needed to let Mrs. IT know that supper will be a little later than originally planned. I’ll be trying to grill salmon rather than the traditional chicken, but I am using the “Simon & Garfunkel” rub that I usually use for chicken/turkey.

Must be a cold front blowing in, because the forecast looks like low 50s by next weekend in Kansas City.

It really doesn't matter how the Twins win or that they were supposedly sleeping through the 1st 8 innings, they weren't. So just like Chicago taking 2 out 3 vs Atlanta. Some things in baseball are unexplainable. Twins win bottom line. Keep it going.

It's mostly been the journeymen and young guys coming through for the win. Jeffers rolled three hits through the infield. There are advantages to putting the balls in play. Farmer had a tremendous at-bat with the opposite-field single. Castro also had a great pinch hit in the ninth to put the comeback in gear. Kirilloff produced the tying run with his chip shot to the left field corner. Outstanding base running by Gallo to score the tying run in the 10th.

Great job by the bullpen, as well. It's too bad they don't have a day off tomorrow, and maybe they'll ask Maeda to go an extra inning.

A great win today. They looked dead in the water after 8 innings today and won the game.  First place in the division is nothing to be negative about!!

They used a lot of guys, but I suspect only Duran and Ortega are truly not available, with a preference to not use Jax.

$5.5MM on the Farm and $1.8MM on Castro. Money well spent.

Falvey's favorite movie is 'robocop".

I did not know that.

That is one fine movie. "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

(Sadly i have yet to watch more than channel surfing excerpts of the sequels, remake, or cartoon)
