CRF Verified Member Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 The Open Championship just ended, and Brian Harman is the winner. Congrats to him! Now, I'm ready for the Twins to win this afternoon.

He gets tons of very good birdie looks...and slides 90% of them by the hole.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 And I’ve just switched over from MLB Network’s Hall of Fame coverage, where they just had the roll call for all the HOFers in attendance. My son and I were able to attend a year ago, seeing Tony O and Jim Kaat inducted. What a wonderful day. In attendance were Tony O, Kaat, Blyleven, Thome, Molitor and Winfield.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Gotta like that Anderson, Colas and Zavala, a third of their lineup, have a combined wRC+ of 125. And by combined, I mean 54 + 35 + 36.

I told my doctor I think I've got the onset of alzheimers. He asked me to spread my fingers and hold my hands apart. I forgot to ask him, before the appt was over, if I passed the test. No kidding.

Not minimizing your concern. I am 75 and run on 3 cylinders some days. If you are aware of concern, not Alzheimers. That is what doc told me. Second, in reading re: forgetfulness, "where are my glasses," etc -- As we age, our electrical signals don't take the direct route anymore. They bounce all over the place before getting to thought formation. My biggest frustration is forgetting a specific word I am after...now what is the word for_________, or the most descriptive word I am after. Lord, have mercy.

And considering Jeffers got a hit the next at bat, it wasn't a good send.

If the throw goes through he needs to be on 2nd.
