Stranded 3 dodgers in an inning.

Artful, eh?

It's the Tale of Two Cities with Great Expectations. The Twins, tired of Hard Times have turned to Our Mutual Friend, Sonny Gray to make Chavez Ravine a Bleak House for The Dodgers.

I wish Plouffe would speak a little louder. He's got a pretty good perspective IMHO. I haven't heard his podcast, but I understand it's pretty good.

Didn't he fade terribly last year?

July and August were putrid, September really good.

Add it all up and at the end it was a 117 OPS+ with 60 XBH's.

He's still a quality hitter IMO.

What I remembered was that he was up there with Arraez in BA going into the All-Star break and suddenly he was below .300 and the power was way down.

I thought Covey was going to take Kershaw's place on the roster. Bereavement leave.

I see Kershaw is still with the team. saw him in the dugout, toying with a baseball.

So many Capital Letters.

I am Impressed.

Alas, still 0-0.

Hope we can Plate some Runs!

If your defense isn't top notch, your offense better be, to cover up mistakes.  Makes it very difficult to win.

Some solace in the fact that Betts' drive probably should have gone over the fence, considering the bad location of the pitch.

Sonny been a little less sharp than we have been accustomed to.

Speculation was that he would take bereavement leave. It's a free move to add another bullpen arm especially after the long game on Monday.

Yeah, we kind of take it for granted. But, even Gray is going to have an off day, but he's still pitching very, very well.

I'll say it now, this season Gray has been a master at limiting damage. He did it again.

So far. He isn't going have a LOB% nearly 90 all year. Buckle up.
