Should never have traded Arraez

Twins cannot hit the ball.  They cannot hit the ball out of the infield.  Will be 10 wins and 20 losses coming up.  10 wins if they are lucky.  Buxton hurt.  Polanco done for. Kepler too.  Truly pathetic.  Fire Baldelli asap. Arraez was the only Twin that had energy for the game.  Traded our best player and it shows. We could have Arraez on the roster for 6 million.  It is going to be a long season.

The Twins had some questions about Arraez’s health but did not seem to have the concerns other teams had about Correa’s health.  After 2-4 seasons, we will know whether the Twins were right.

I think you need to take a look at Pablo's stats these two games.  I understand they are against the Royals and Marlins...but, if he can keep this up, it will be well worth it.  Arraez is a slap hitting, injury prone, great dude.  We didn't lose Kirby Puckett.   Your comments seem short-sighted.  There will be options by mid-season.  Lewis, Lee, Julian, and even Martin can lead off if needed.  The Twins future is looking bright.

OR.

We hit just fine against the decent pitching we have seen.  And gotten shut down by the elite pitching we have seen.  Although those elite  pitchers often do that because they are, you know, elite.

This team has plenty of fire and energy.   They love to play and they rave about the clubhouse.

I am 88% sure the OP was facetious.  If not, you get that hate out your heart, son.

Hot Take for the sake of a Hot Take.  More like a luke warm almost cold take.  Let's see Arraez came up with chance to blow game open and he struck out today.  Great timing on the hot take.

I'm more frustrated that the entire Twins bench played ball in this game. I can understand replacing an "injured" Kepler. And Jeffers getting a start (he is hitting and threw out 2 of 3 stealers - yes). But, I'm sorry - quit playing guys totally out of position - Castro in the outfield when you had Gordon?

We get to see the three batter rule work - for the hitting team. Relief pitchers are going to give up hits, yes. And be brought into face particular batters (although Thielbar wasn't brought in to face Arraez and did...wonders).

Reminds me of the old Gardy afternoons when he would play the entire B-squad in a game, giving regulars the day off. And...the batting order! Just when I thought Rocco was working towards some consistency of who bats where and after whom.

Jeffers had nothing to do with throwing out the base stealers. Three times runners on first broke early for second, twice Lopez realized and threw them out, once he went to the plate and the runner made it without a throw. Thielbar was brought in to face Arraez and struck him out.

We fans tend to view one game as the direction for the whole season. I'm not ready to say the Twins have a putrid offense and I'm also not ready to say that they have a superior pitching staff. They had a few more chances this afternoon and didn't quite get the job done. The key play might have been Solano's infield hit in the seventh--that certainly would have added a run and maybe two, but the third baseman made a great stop and saved a key run.

Also, many complaints in other threads about bullpen usage. You maybe want to use Duran in this game, but it would have been a certainty if the Twins were ahead, not just tied.
