When I was a kid, my folks bought one of those monstrosities, and the deal included being able to stop in each week to pick out a record or 8-track. I still have every song memorized on Donna Fargo's "Happiest Girl in the Whole USA" and Lynn Anderson's "Rose Garden" albums.

I really don't see the Twins being a serious contender to go deep in the playoffs, if Buxton's current work schedule continues.  I think he has to either  play through the pain and occupy a sport on the everyday roster, or cash it in.  It's like Mark Spitz, treading water, rather than competing in a an event.

If they get him squared away, even better. The bullpen is going to look so much better now that we can move people who have no business pitching in high leverage late innings back to the middle innings.
