stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 The Twins haven't had much luck stealing bases so far this season. Bigger bases next year might help.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Don't we have the bigger bases this year?

They love it even more when he's on the bench or in the doctor's office or doing rehab. The additional risk of injury is just not worth it.

Apparently they'd patched up their differences.

Very impressive, as is his reputation. He could teach a few veteran players a lesson or two in humility and determination. I hope we get to see him on the TF field soon. My lasting memory of Lewis will always be sitting right behind the dugout in Clinton, when Royce was playing at Cedar Rapids. There were two bat boys switching back and forth over the course of the evening. One of whom appeared to have a mild developmental disability. Royce engaged with each of them, moreso than any other player did. He asked their names and greeted them by name each time he got to the on-deck circle. Total class on his part.

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Miranda! Drives it to the C-RF gap, first hit, first RBI!
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Congrats to Miranda on his first MLB hit! First of many!

Having 180-240 bigger bases spec’ed tested and manufactured would take 4-6 months minimum. Changing the bases mid-season would be weird.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 That has to be the weakest double of all time

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Correa with his first bad play defensively of the year. Was going to try to go home, rushed it, didn't field it. If he has thoughts of going to first I think he makes the play fairly easily.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Don't think they got him live. Let us see the replay.
