Well Buxton can hit a triple and score Celestino and maybe stretch it into a inside the park homer.

Or not.

After last year, I believe in Polanco in clutch situations.

Agreed.  Despite his struggles at the plate, he's got 13 RBI.  I believe that leads the team.

Orioles have some good pitchers.  Twins have an excess of good position players.  Maybe there is a trade that could help both teams?

Ya know, is it too much to ask to show some ruthlessness and not give the run back right away?  Can they at least wait an inning?

Not Joe's best day. Command not quite as good as usual and that horrible batted ball luck certainly didn't help.

Sorry I'm late. It is taco Tuesday at the Narrows Bar and Grill. Back in time to see Correa make a great play at 2nd base!

Go Twins!

Probably one of Ryan's worst starts. Wasn't really getting swings and misses, and didn't have great command. He kept the Orioles from hitting much hard, but gave up quite a few hits. Just a weird start. The defense didn't do him any favors, but they also made some tough plays as well. Gotta hope the B bullpen can bring this one home, or that the Twins put up 6 or 7 runs.

That'll happen.  Not going to have it every night.  He did a pretty decent job of minimizing the damage though.

I'm guessing Twins are good for at least 5 more runs. BP: 2 hits, zero runs.

Just a prediction.

Balitmore took a series from the Yankees so they are far from a push-over.

Absolutely. More so has to do with how good some of his other starts have been. Some nights you just don't have it. To get out of it with only 2 runs given up is a plus. Plus, if you aren't going to have "it" it's best to be against a team like Baltimore.

And if your worst start of the year is 2 runs in 4 2/3 innings, you are a good (or lucky) pitcher.

I still maintain batters need to be limited to one timeout per game

Is there now a limit on time outs or is that coming with a pitch  clock.

I would have liked for Ryan to try to get that third out to get his 5 innings and maybe pick up a win if the team scores in the 6th.
