Despite the lack of hitting so far I feel like this game will end 7-5

That does seem like how these types of games go, doesn't it?

And I agree, it does have that feel.

My favorite play in baseball!  Score a run and then give it right back!  Nothing better!

I'm not used to seeing Buxton not reach a ball... but at least he pulled up on it.

Button not trying to run through the wall is the biggest win of the day.

This ballpark design is so stupid. Someone is going to get seriously injured on that wall.

Agree. First time i have seen the change and it won't last three years I would bet. That configuration is dangerous. Gordon makes that catch if it is not a corner to die on. MLB forgot to check the design change.

I have some minor league film to show you.

That point was made, I was wrong, he was only lightning hot in the Spring Games, that is how he got on the team.

Wasn’t Baltimore supposed to call up their super star catcher prospect one of these days?

Injured in spring training. Started a rehab at Class A the end of last week. Moves to AA tomorrow for a few days. Then on to AAA for what’s anticipated to be a brief stint before heading to AAAA, also known as Baltimore.

I’m currently carrying him on my fantasy active roster I figure an empty spot doesn’t hurt me as much as most of the backup catchers available.

In this series’ installment of Shopping With The Enemy, I bet that Orioles fan in your life likes to play pool. According to yelp there is an establishment in Baltimore called Gentlemen’s Cue that is surprisingly not a strip club.

first up this really ugly billiards triangle

second we have kinda nifty retro billiard ball set

Third we have a really inexpensive pool table.

wait, that’s not a pool table, it’s just a cloth for $574 and it doesn’t appear to be felt either.

So for just shy of $1000 you don’t even get a table or a cue… I don’t think I can afford billiards :(

at least not with orioles fans

Manfred approved it personally:

”I don’t see any problems!” Lol

seriously though I think you are right.

Twins also had a nice stretch of Center Fielders to that point (Puckett-Hunter-Span) and a little over-confidence was understandable even if not justified

If only that pool table was a little more gaudy, I'd buy one.  As it is, it's just too tasteful for my liking.

This is actually cool. Need to find the Twins one...I'm blaming you when I get in trouble for buying one of these.

Did Buxton just freely trot over to second base (SB) while I was typing? Lol

No. Advanced on the groundout to 1B. Arraez hit a rocket that the 1B had to dive for. No throw at 2nd.

I could get used to watching Correa drive in Buxton for the next seven years or so.

Fair.  Thanks for running the numbers.

Could not be a nicer night to catch a game in Baltimore.  It’s me, my son, and a few hundred Twins and Orioles fans (equally divided).

Glad Gordon didn’t get hurt on that ball.

Nice!

Looks like Sano is out for a while.

Depth is good. Don't understand why many on this board are calling for trading it away, especially so early.
