bighat Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Jeffers average down to a robust .191 while striking out in 40% of his at bats this year.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I just can't make myself watch with Colome on the mound. Can't do it.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 i'm afraid that might have been the last good chance

In any event, sigh. I really thought they'd win this game.......which they still can, I guess.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I gotta bow out. I can't watch the upcoming walk-off homer.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Ya, I'm not ready to move on from Garver....but, shockingly, Jeffers is 37th in all of baseball in catcher fWAR this year......and top ten in home runs, IIRC. Unreal how bad catcher hitting is this year across the league outside the top guys.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Why go all that way just to let it drop
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Sano..... Dick said it straight out, that ball needs to be caught.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Bringing in 9.00 era Barraclough was the boner that may cost the game.
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Unbelievable - show some effort to catch a pop-up

ashbury Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Is anyone still talking about the Twins picking up the 2022 option on CoLOLome?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 the 1 run in the last 8 innings played a big part
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Lazy effort by Kepler.

Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Well, when you starter doesn't finish the first on a one game roadtrip. You have a bullpen full of undefined arms, and the one you wanted to close no one wanted at trade deadline. It is hopeless to wish for nice things, I guess.

Irishman Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Yankees owning Twins for years. I’m tired of it. Yankees should be subjected to contraction next season. I don’t care about Yankees anymore. Yankees should be gone. Any time Yankees are out of the playoffs, I would be happiest man in the world. Screw Yankees!
