Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 There are only two words we need to know: Phil Cuzzi.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Guess who still doesn't know fair/foul? 'Cause he's (Cuzzi's) not a good ump!
cHawk Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 We are making countless fielding gaps, always resulting in runs. Let's start by fixing that.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Polanco has been poor in the field today
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I don't know that Simmons could have gotten Gallo either way but come on, Jorge...
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I guess I should take back my praise of Thorpe...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Who would’ve thought Lewis Thorpe wasn’t a great option for a starter except everyone?
cHawk Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 The Twins would be getting their sh()t handed to them by a real opponent...
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 So what happened to Thorpe's added velo?I can’t get out of my head the similarities between Thorpe’s situation and Taylor Rogers not too long ago. It seems silly to keep trying him as a starter when he barely makes it to the 5th inning without getting in trouble. Him or Smeltzer could find new life in the pen.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Who would’ve thought Lewis Thorpe wasn’t a great option for a starter except everyone? He's pitching fine rn

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Who would’ve thought Lewis Thorpe wasn’t a great option for a starter except everyone?Eh? He's looked okay this season, though his velo is still concerning.
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 What the... Gameday had the game at 4-1 for a little bit, so I thought Thorpe gave up 4 runs. Disregard my past comment.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Gameday had this as a 3-1 rangers lead. I turn on mlb tv and it’s 1-1. What the heck

FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Regardless of that double... it's sad our cleanup hitter the past two years has been replaced by a waiver claim...
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 He's pitching fine rnGetting results tonight, but also way too much hard contact tonight
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Regardless of that double... it's sad our cleanup hitter the past two years has been replaced by a waiver claim... Garlick leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Thanks for the historical clarification. (and 96%... leaves some room for improvement.) Cinco de Mayo just sounds cool. Almost as good as Hellmann's mayo. Sorry -- can't do it. Can't bring myself to click the "like" button on a post complimenting mayonnaise. That does remind me of the ship overloaded with Hellmann's that went under just off the Mexican coast. It was the sinko de mayo.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Author Posted May 6, 2021 They have us right where they want us... Bases loaded, no one out. We're doomed.

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Bases loaded no outs? No way the boys can **** this one up. What team have you been watching???
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 That would have been a good spot for Polanco to make contact if he had planned to do so at all today.
