Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 How does the manager of an MLB team not know the rule
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Pulling berrios at 83 pitches. If we had a bullpen I would get it. Clown show
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 lol what?Berrios removed for... The radio made it seem like it the coaching staff did not realize it was the second visit, and they did not mean to remove him.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 moving out of my house of the last 15 years.Going to great lengths to try to break the Twins postseason curse!
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 He may have known the rule but not remembered that it was the second visit this inning. Still not good, of course!
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Rocco aint the guy, folks. How about that. Robles didn’t completely implode.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 A better defensive LF catches that ball from Rosario... and that was a really good throw home from Rooker. If Rosario's a bit slower, that's an out. This was my exact thought. Arraez took a pretty bad route to that ball. A major league outfielder catches that.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Wow, that's a new one. This season is full of surprises... mostly negative ones.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Bit of a manager blunder there eh? He didn’t intend to take Berrios out of the game... That’s on him not knowing the rule.

twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Going to great lengths to try to break the Twins postseason curse! You have no idea the depths I'll go to see another WS victory. SELL, SELL, SELL.
jkcarew Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 You can’t make up Rocco’s season so far. Let’s hope the opposite of what he meant to do leads to a W. Seems like the odds would be better.
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Rocco aint the guy, folks. If he acts like he's not the guy and we think he's not the guy, maybe he's not the guy.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Watch them now score no more runs the rest of the game.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Plezac has been terrible this year. Twins making him look like an all-star.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 He may have known the rule but not remembered that it was the second visit this inning. Still not good, of course! That's where a bench coach comes in. They are there to keep track of those things.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Maybe Rocco just decided to try the George Costanza strategy anyway, and do the opposite of every impulse.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Kirilloff is making some sharp contact, he'll get rewarded with some more hits soon. The rest of the lineup, though... yikes.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 On another note, how is Berrios supposed to become an ace if he’s always pulled at the first sign of trouble?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Too bad our star center fielder is made out of glass
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Keep Robles in or bring in Duffey?
jkcarew Verified Member Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Maybe Rocco just decided to try the George Costanza strategy anyway, and do the opposite of every impulse. His mind was drifting to who he wanted to rest for tomorrow’s game. It’s something that can’t be addressed too soon.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 On another note, how is Berrios supposed to become an ace if he’s always pulled at the first sign of trouble? That's an old school mentality. That's what bullpens are for... apparently. But I agree with you completely.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Keep Robles in or bring in Duffey?Definitely keep him in and try to go the 7th, we don't have enough decent relievers to cover this. Then Duffey and Rogers in the 8th and 9th.
